About: This is our first time getting on Rover but both my husband and I are pet parents and frequently pet sit for a number of friends and family when they travel. I’m an experienced pet parent with two dogs of my own, aged 5 and 6. They’re very friendly and loving and I am very familiar with the care, routine and attention dogs need every day. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level — I am happy to follow your instructions closely to make sure they’re happy and settled. Your pet will have plenty of space and attention with me. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard, giving dogs some space to play and get some fresh air. It’s a non-smoking household and because I live with my husband and mother-in-law, someone will always be home and your pet won’t be left alone for longer than 20 mins if at all. I’m comfortable providing them with regular walks and potty breaks. My dogs are given pee breaks every 4 hours and two walks in the morning and at night right before we sleep. I’m also comfortable with maintaining consistent feeding schedules, playtime, and providing oral medication (what’s not in the list is obvious but I’m also great at cuddles and companionship). My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the pack when staying with us. I work a full time job but I’m mostly remote (I’m lucky). So I’m home throughout and able to give pets plenty of attention and regular breaks. My own dogs are already part of my daily routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and endless cuddles built in. On the rare occasion that I need to go into the office (like once a month but it’s very rare), my husband is home and helps care for the dogs. He is an equally attentive and loving pet parent so your fur baby will have someone around them to keep them safe, loved and cared for. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in a safe space. I have used rover to find sitters for my dogs too and it’s a top priority. Is the house truly dog friendly - no slippery floors, food lying around, chocolate wrappers, sharp edges… I scan for the little things. That is the exact level of attention I put into my home to make sure my dogs (and yours) are comfortable. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard so dogs can enjoy some outdoor time without having the risk of them wandering off. Our home is non-smoking and you can be sure that someone will always be in the house with the dogs, at all times. Before a stay, I’m happy to learn about your dogs routine, personality, feeds, comfort level, and any special instructions so I can keep their experience as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’m also very mindful of introductions between dogs so I can make sure every pet feels comfortable and has the space they need. Most importantly, I want you to have complete peace of mind when you’re away. So if you like, I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and videos (I personally like these) and follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home.

“We left our three year-old retriever, Nora, with Kripa for three days. This was our first time using Rover and, honestly, I was a little nervous, leaving her with a stranger. We had a first meet and greet and all went well. In fact, I was very happy how Nora played in interacted with her dog. When I dropped Nora off, Iimmediately received photos and videos within an hour. I did not expect this to continue, but I was happy to continually get pictures and updated videos of Nora‘s integration, walks, and life throughout the three days we were away. This made myself and my kids so happy to see that we had made such great of choice of boarding. I would definitely use Kripa again. Her communication and punctuality is outstanding. Her house is very clean and she is very easy to talk with. Thank you again for taking such good care of our fur baby!”
