About: Hi there! I’m Carlie! 👋 I've been a pet owner my whole life, which has given me a genuine love for both dogs and cats. I’ve had the joy of training playful puppies and even fostering several at once, focusing on potty training and behavior. I particularly adore dachshunds and other small breeds—they truly have a special place in my heart. Cats are just as important to me, and I know how to give them the care they need. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or just some quality snuggles, your feline companions will be in great hands. I’m also a nature lover, so I enjoy taking long walks in the afternoons and evenings, ensuring your pets get plenty of exercise and fresh air. You can trust that your pets’ happiness and well-being will always be my top priority! I’m a freelance commercial photographer and I make my own schedule which leaves lot of free time during my day to look after your fur babies! I use pet friendly candles + air fresheners and cleaning products. Practicing regular and Proper hygiene. Regular teeth brushings. Providing enrichment toys as well as socializing with other dogs.
About: I’m a retired animal lover who has owned dogs all my life, including both small and large breeds such as Shih Tzus, Boxers, and Labradors. Since retiring, I’ve realized how much I miss having dogs, and caring for other people’s dogs has been the perfect solution, and I absolutely love it. My home is quiet, calm, and perfect for dogs. I live in a house with a large fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, run, and enjoy lots of fresh air. Why Owners Choose Me ✔ Retired and home most of the day ✔ Large fenced backyard for safe playtime ✔ Lifelong dog owner with experience with many breeds ✔ Comfortable caring for large dogs and small dogs ✔ Experience with medication and special care needs ✔ Calm, quiet home environment Over the years I have also become the designated dog sitter for my family’s “grand-dogs.” These include a wide variety of breeds such as: • Pomeranian • Boston Terrier • Olde English Bulldogge • Bullmastiff • American Bulldog • Dogue de Bordeaux Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I also have experience with: • Puppies • Senior dogs • Dogs that require special care or medication. Because I am retired, I am home most of the time, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, supervision, and companionship. I enjoy the time together as much as your dog. 😊 Dogs staying with me will enjoy a calm, loving environment where they will be treated like part of the family. I don’t take dogs out for neighbourhood walks (my own feet betray me from walking long distances 😉), but I make sure they get lots of exercise and playtime in my large (and safe) fenced backyard. I spend time outside with them playing fetch, tossing balls, and keeping them active. My goal is always to make sure dogs feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you are away.
“Amber was absolutely wonderful to deal with, especially as our first booking experience using Rover as new puppy parents. She was super friendly, quick to respond and we appreciated the updates during the visit. We’ll definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks so much for everything Amber!”

“Zehra was amazing!! Since the first time we met, she showed how much she cares for pets :) my cats felt 100% comfortable around her. Even my extremely shy cat came out to greet her at times which is extremely rare!! I can’t recommend her enough :) she is patient, trustworthy, knowledgeable and is very thorough when listening about pets routine and what they like or dislike. It was my first time leaving my pets in someone else’s care and I can assure you pets will do great with Zehra!!”

“Erinne was amazing! Knowing she was keeping an eye on our two cats made being far from home less stressful and the updates we received after each visit were great to see. Will definitely think of booking with her next time we need a sitter”

About: Hi there! My name is Sam! I have been caring for cats and dogs professionally since 2019. I have always been an animal lover, from slimy and scaly to soft and fluffy. Every animal deserves tender love and care, especially while their family is away. It can be scary for pets when their family is away and I understand how a gentle, patient approach can ease that discomfort for pet parents and pet. Safety is my number 1 priority and I’m a big believer in loss prevention, meaning the pets I care for are always secured. Never off leash or in areas that could be a potential danger. I also understand that animals have mental and physical enrichment needs, I aim to stimulate their brains as well as get them moving physically. I have an almost 8 year old dog named Toby, he is a shih tzu mix. I have been caring for dogs and cats professionally since 2019 so Toby is happy to share his house and backyard with friends! I ask that your dog is dog friendly to ensure that both pups are happy during the stay. I also have a 9 year young cat, named Phoebe. She is comfortable with sharing her home with dogs that are happy to give her space. Even if your dog hasn’t been around a cat before I’m happy to do a trail and see how your pup responds, some dogs can be easily redirected and we can make it work! Some dogs have a higher prey drive and redirecting can be hard. A meet and greet prior to a stay will be important to ensure all parties are comfy! I am currently Monday to Wednesday, so I am able to accommodate boarding in our home. I’m currently available Thursday-Sunday for new customers. Arrangements can be made for pups require a stay that falls on Monday-Wednesday. My days are typically opposite to my partner, so your pup will never be home alone long. Safety is my number one priority with every animal I care for. I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost either of my pets. Our backyard is fully fenced and I check often for imperfections such as holes in or under the fence. Your dog will always be on leash while out and about, even if your pup has great recall I will never let them off leash unless in a secure area, such as a dog park or other fenced in area. We use long lines on hikes to provide the off leash experience.
“Catherine was so great! From the moment Bentley met her, he just absolutely loved her. She took such great care of him on her drop in visit. We would definitely love to have her back to take care of Bentley!”

“Jessica has always treated our loved ones as her own. She is exceptional at what she does and is extremely diligent in ensuring that they have exactly what they need and follows instructions to a “T”. I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for pet care. She is strident in ensuring check-ins are completed and provided many pictures and videos to ease any worries we had leaving our cat in her care while on vacation. This is the second time we’ve used Jessica for pet care and most certainly will not be the last. Even with last minute requests, a medically complex cat, and a new challenge for her to overcome she has always been steadfast in being there for us and for that we cannot thank her enough.”

“We greatly appreciated Nicole’s help while we were away on vacation. She simply dropped in twice/day to provide Mosby (our senior cat) meals and administer his insulin injections. Nicole is warm, confident and friendly. You can tell she truly cares about all the animals she takes care of.”

About: I have provided exceptional pet care to furry and feathered clients for over 15 years. I'm certified in Animal Nutrition, Pet Psychology, and Pet First Aid. I work from home, (semi-retired), and have a very flexible schedule to allow for dog walks, pet visits, and sleep overs. I do not have any family commitments. I try to stay with the pet's schedule for exercise/walks/playtime, feeding and sleep to alleviate any stress on the pet and ensure that they are comfortable while their humans are away. I avoid any stressful situations on our walks, and always keep them secured in their fenced yards and never alone, and on leash for our walks.
“Michelle was an outstanding pet sitter. Before our vacation, she took the time to visit and meet our two cats, to understand their needs and go over my cats medication requirements. She cared for them wonderfully, gave me lots of photo and text updates, and easily administered their medication. She has a very calming presence which I'm sure my cats appreciated. We will definitely book her again for our next vacation!”

About: I'm not as new to professional pet caring now, but I'm constantly learning and I have respect and love for animals. I have cared for pet dog and cat from puppy to old age and I am always learning from experts on how to handle most situations that will arise. I am able to be extremely active and engaging with animals to ensure they are properly stimulated and socialized. I take my job very seriously as a guardian of a pet myself I know that they are as much family as pet. I will always take special care to listen to a pet's guardian's advice on how to care for their pet so that they are properly taken care of as they deserve and expect to be treated. I’m currently self employed and mainly work at night when my dogs are asleep. During the day I am free to look after not only my dogs but also other people’s pets as well. When I’m not working I’m often taking care of my dog’s needs. I follow instructions from pet owners and ask about their pet to find out what kind of care they need. Every dog has its own personality and needs and I do the best to treat them as their owner would treat them so their stay is as comfortable as possible.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep connection with animals, developed from caring for pets since the age of 6. Over the years, I’ve become attuned to the subtle behaviors of both dogs and cats, which helps me understand their needs and emotions. My natural empathy allows me to quickly bond with pets, making them feel comfortable and secure under my care. Additionally, I have experience with pets of all ages—from playful puppies and energetic kittens to senior pets with special care requirements. I am patient and attentive, whether it’s handling specific dietary needs, administering medications, or providing gentle care for older pets. With over 20 years of experience, I’m well-versed in ensuring pets feel safe, loved, and well-cared-for in my hands. As a stay-at-home mom, I have the flexibility to incorporate pet care into my daily routine with ease. This allows me to provide attentive and consistent care throughout the day, whether it's regular feeding, playtime, or walks. My experience managing both household and pet responsibilities means I’m well-organized and can adapt to the needs of your pets, ensuring they feel loved and cared for. With a structured yet flexible schedule, I’m able to give your pets the time and attention they deserve, making sure they are happy and comfortable while you're away. In my home, pets enjoy a fully fenced yard for safe play, along with a variety of toys for both dogs and cats, including scratch posts. I can crate pets if needed, and my well-lit living space offers big windows perfect for birdwatching. Your pets will also have daily access to a fountain with fresh water to ensure they are well hydrated during their stay. For dogs, I often take them to a nearby dog park for extra exercise and socialization. Whether it’s playtime, a park trip, or relaxing indoors, I provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for your pets.
About: Hi Pet Owners; NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS I am an elementary school teacher by day and a dog walker/sitter by night. Dogs are and have always been my passion. For many years, I have provided daily care for pets while their owners were away, and took responsibility for routine duties (walks, putting out fresh water, cleaning litter boxes, etc.) while owners were at work. I understand that life gets hectic, so I like to support pet owners by vacuuming pet hair in the house, and bathing and grooming their fur babies. In the past, I have watched and walked anxious dogs. My philosophy is to use positive reinforcement to encourage dogs to display more acceptable behaviours, more frequently. I am fully available to attend to all of your animal's needs starting Friday night until Sunday, holidays and extended stays over the summer. Please check my availability as my summer is filling up. I live in a condo in Bowmanville. The building has a large courtyard where your dog can interact with other dogs if they like dog interactions. I also live close to several trails and safe roads with sidewalks. In my neighbourhood, there are many schools with large fields where I can take your dog to exert their energy.
