“To begin, we would like to say that WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAOMI TO ANYONE! When our regular sitter was unavailable for our 14 night Europe trip, we found ourselves in the stressful situation of having to find an “alternative” caregiver for our (nearly) 12 year old poodle cross, Spenser. After interviewing almost a dozen potential candidates, both through Rover and independently, we finally came across Naomi. As a full time pet professional, well versed in pet first aid, we were comfortable that our boy, would be in good hands. Even so, to be certain, we arranged for a one night trial, mostly to ensure that everyone would be compatible. During the trial period, Naomi kept us updated and thankfully, it became clear that Spenser would be safe and comfortable in her care. We were especially thrilled to hear that when our boy experienced some nighttime separation anxiety, Naomi slept with him on the couch. So when the time came time for his 14 day staycation, we were very optimistic. And we were right; during the time we were away, we received constant updates, photos, and videos making it clear that Spenser was having a great time. Happily, he and her puppy Kratos were becoming “besties”, so we were able to relax knowing that he was having a lot of fun and that we had truly found a great sitter. But more importantly, when this became even more clear, was just a few days before the end of our trip when Naomi messaged that Spenny was having some stomach distress, and that she was monitoring him closely. But then, on the last day of our vacation, Naomi advised that he was still unwell, and that she was taking him to our vet. There was no, “should I take him?” or “what do you think?” It was simply a statement of fact, “I am taking him.” This was exactly the “take charge” reassurance we needed, being an ocean away. When we picked him up, Naomi provided us with detailed instructions regarding his diet and medications going forward, and when to book a follow up with our vet. In the end, Spenser’s condition turned out to be a flare up of a stomach issue he had experienced in the past and thankfully he is recovering now, largely thanks to Naomi’s quick and decisive action. So to repeat, WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAOMI TO ANYONE, and will definitely be using her services in the future.”

She sent lots of pictures and videos, even when he was still hiding from her under the couch. 😹 She even went above and beyond when we had an unexpectedly early snowfall and cleared the snow off of our front steps! We came home to a happy cat, a house as clean as when we left it, and a safe path up to our front door. I was a little worried because this was my first time hiring a cat sitter, and because the last time we went away for a week we left Sid with a cat-only boarding house and he was miserable. He barely ate the whole week and he didn’t even look like himself in the photos the boarders sent. When we got home he wouldn’t finish meals and tried to bury his food for about a week (and when I say food is this cat’s joie de vivre I’m not being dramatic). But Tatyana took such good care of him that he even stopped hiding under the couch by the 3rd visit and looked like he was having a blast playing with her! For reference, it took him over a week to stop hiding from my parents when they stayed with us, and even then he kept his distance. After being cared for by Tatyana, Sid is acting like his normal self and eating meals just fine. In fact, he’s maybe a bit disgruntled that his new favourite human isn’t here to play with him now that we’re back. 🤭 Because of the time difference where we were, we got to wake up every morning to a detailed update on our boy and lots of pics and videos. It was so nice to wake up to, and such a relief to see him doing so well. I’m so thankful to Tatyana for providing such good care that we didn’t have any anxiety about leaving Sid behind while we travelled for a week and a half. She’s amazing!”

Jozsef took her for a walk as soon as I dropped her off which seemed to make her really comfortable as I drove away. I have a cat with diabetes who I give care and medication to everyday I’m currently on disability so I can care for pets anytime of day or night. About: Ive always loved caring for animals from cats and dogs to reptiles, amphibians and rodents, I have experience with puppies and kittens, administering medication, and grooming. My schedule is flexible, I have a lot of extra time and would love to spend it with your animal friends. I would love a meet and greet to meet them! I have a fenced yard and a friendly beagle that loves other dogs but can be separated if necessary. I can crate your animal if needed, administer medications, take them for walks, clean litter boxes and groom cats and whatever fits your animals needs.
About: I have always been around animals, throughout my entire life. I have dog sit and walked a variety of dogs, from Chihuahuas to American Bullies. I have a lot of energy to play with energetic dogs, and am very patient. I love to be organized and keep note of everything I need to properly take care of your pet, as well as stay attentive to keep them safe. I am currently in university, however my hours are flexible and only fall on two days. Either way we can work around with what you need and I am very lenient. About: I have taken care of cats with at PetSmart for multiple years. I am currently at a cattery hub shelter. The cats rely on me to feed, clean their litter boxes and monitor why they play with other cats and socialize. I'm self employed so taking care of pets can fit anywhere in my schedule! Weekends and weeknights are the best times for me to take care of pets. When in a client's home, I would make sure the pets' needs are met. “To begin, we would like to say that WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAOMI TO ANYONE! When our regular sitter was unavailable for our 14 night Europe trip, we found ourselves in the stressful situation of having to find an “alternative” caregiver for our (nearly) 12 year old poodle cross, Spenser. After interviewing almost a dozen potential candidates, both through Rover and independently, we finally came across Naomi. As a full time pet professional, well versed in pet first aid, we were comfortable that our boy, would be in good hands. Even so, to be certain, we arranged for a one night trial, mostly to ensure that everyone would be compatible. During the trial period, Naomi kept us updated and thankfully, it became clear that Spenser would be safe and comfortable in her care. We were especially thrilled to hear that when our boy experienced some nighttime separation anxiety, Naomi slept with him on the couch. So when the time came time for his 14 day staycation, we were very optimistic. And we were right; during the time we were away, we received constant updates, photos, and videos making it clear that Spenser was having a great time. Happily, he and her puppy Kratos were becoming “besties”, so we were able to relax knowing that he was having a lot of fun and that we had truly found a great sitter. But more importantly, when this became even more clear, was just a few days before the end of our trip when Naomi messaged that Spenny was having some stomach distress, and that she was monitoring him closely. But then, on the last day of our vacation, Naomi advised that he was still unwell, and that she was taking him to our vet. There was no, “should I take him?” or “what do you think?” It was simply a statement of fact, “I am taking him.” This was exactly the “take charge” reassurance we needed, being an ocean away. When we picked him up, Naomi provided us with detailed instructions regarding his diet and medications going forward, and when to book a follow up with our vet. In the end, Spenser’s condition turned out to be a flare up of a stomach issue he had experienced in the past and thankfully he is recovering now, largely thanks to Naomi’s quick and decisive action. So to repeat, WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NAOMI TO ANYONE, and will definitely be using her services in the future.”
