We believe your pets are family!
My husband, Chris and I have been caring for ours, friends' and neighbours' dogs for over 25 years. I started rescuing them as an adult with my best friend, and later rescue and adopt with my husband. We are experienced in training the basics and helping to calm new rescues. We live within minutes away from the Pearson airport, so drop off and pick up when traveling is a breeze! My husband works from home and I work part-time so your dog will never be alone! We walk our dog twice per day so your dog will get plenty of exercise! We have a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company and a huge fenced yard for them to run and play in. They typically have run of the house with dog beds in every room, and we are flexible when special care is needed. We believe that pets are family and treat them as our own while they stay, play, and train with us.

Yara had a great time on her mini vacation and was relaxed and comfortable. It was her first time with Brigitte and Chris so we were a bit anxious but Brigitte kept us updated and shared pics and videos and we knew Yara was in great hands ❤️
Another successful stay for Stella & Hank! We appreciate the frequent updates and photos from Brigitte and it's clear the pups are having their own great vacay. One less thing to worry about with vacation plans when you know your fur babies are in good hands!

Brigitte provides daily photos and updates on Stella and Hank. You can see that they are enjoying themselves, so much so that we figured they may disown us when we come to retrieve them! Great to know that our fur babies are in good hands when we are away.

Brigitte & Chris are an amazing couple and a great team to care for your pet! Roxy stayed over the long weekend with them and not only was it like a fun-filled holiday for Roxy, but Brigitte and Chris provided great training for Roxy and tips for me to keep the training going! Really appreciate the care provided for Roxy and great updates of their adventures throughout the stay!

Home characteristics
A typical day
A typical day with us..... we like to play and walk first thing in the morning and then feed them breakfast. I love cuddles and a mid-day play. I like teaching new tricks/skills and rewarding positive behaviours with treats and praise. We enjoy evening walks with the pack after dinner. So your dog will get plenty of exercise! We typically take the dogs everywhere with us. If we go to the cottage or camping, so do they! Private walks are available for less social or senior dogs.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours that I need to be aware of. Please let me know if your dog is house training, if they've stayed with other caretakers before, and if they like other dogs! Also the sleeping arrangements they’re used to and please include pick up and drop off times in requests.
