âThis is my first time using Rover as I just moved 11 hours away from home, and donât have friends, family, or coworkers here to check on the cats. Brian was amazing with the whole experience; he came to meet my husband and I and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed getting updates and pictures of our cats while we were out of town. He did an awesome job and weâll definitely reach out to him again!â

âMatilda is an excellent and very reliable cat sitter. She is well-organized, punctual, and clearly cares about the catâs comfort and well-being. I felt completely at ease leaving my cat in her care. Everything was handled responsibly and with great attention. I highly recommend her.â

âErica, we want to thank you so much for taking excellent care of our 4 cats. Erica was checking in on our cats twice daily for the week we were on vacation. She arrived right on schedule each day and fed and cared for our cats, and before checkout sent pictures from each visit. When we arrived home our pets were happy and well cared for, thanks to Erica. I highly recommend Erica to anyone who is looking for a reliable, honest and trustworthy caretaker for your pets.â

âXan did an outstanding job taking care of our three cats while we were out of town for a week. They made sure our cats were fed, had fresh water daily, and kept their litter boxes clean. We got regular updates with photos, which was very reassuring. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and a tidy house. Absolutely recommend Xan for pet-sitting needs and will definitely book them again. Thank you Xan!â

About: Hi I am an illustrator from Washington D.C. I am a former graphic designers and Production Specialist at the Washington Navy Yard. I also have five years dog waking experience which began In 2014 during my college spring break. I have worked off an on as a dog walker since then. I am a relaxed dog walker who does not get frustrated with extremely hyper dogs. I am also pretty big so I will not be pulled and yanked around by rambunctious pups. I am pretty accommodating to the needs of the owners. If you prefer your dog walked solo that can be arranged. I have been doing this a long time so Iâm am used to being around dogs and look forward to walking your family member.
âPaola, as always, was an amazing sitter for our cats. My partner and I got to enjoy a nice night out without any worries or stress about our special needs cats, since we knew they were in good hands!â

About: Kind, observant and attentive companion with experience volunteering across shelters and rescues giving me the experience and love for all personalities, earning trust, and respecting boundaries. I currently work part-time remotely so have wide flexibility to visit and care for your fur baby. Available weekdays and weekends with advance notice. As someone who has worked full-time in person and traveled often I know how important trusting your pets caregiver and companion is, any and all questions are important and I'm here to pay close attention. I aim to be a bright spot in your pet's day with your absence so whether it is play time or company I would love to make my presence as comforting and as minimally disruptive as possible. I rescued a cat and dog of my own who arrived anxious and in need of heaps of TLC. Working at rescues and shelters I also know how to escalate any veterinary emergencies so I hope to earn your trust in being a temporary guardian for your pet(s).
âCould not be happier with the way Connie took care of my cat. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos, and I could tell when I returned home that he had been well cared for as he was a happy dude. I will definitely try to book her again in the future.â
âErin was an amazing pet sitter. Two of our kitties loved her, and she got eyes (and pictures!) of our third baby, who is anxious and loves to hide. She made sure to check our girlâs breathing, since she has asthma and was able to reassure that she was doing well. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing she was taking care of our kitty crew. We would definitely book her again.â

Beltsville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah did a great job of watching our 2 cats while we were recently out of town. She went the extra mile and navigated a still snow- and ice-covered street to get to our house. She followed all instructions carefully and communicated with us after each visit. Definitely will keep her on my list of top cat sitters.
Maria provided home visits once a day to my home, to feed and spend time with my cat. She would send the details of the visits, pictures, videos in a timely manner. In addition my cat trusted Maria and it seems that her presence calmed him. I would use her services again.
Jane did a great job at helping me take care of my feral outdoor cats while I was gone. She was timely for feedings, and even got some pictures of Lego who still doesnât trust people. She was very understanding of my unique need as this was not a typical cat sitting situation. I definitely had peace of mind while on vacation!
Ashley was absolutely amazing! Our cat, Smokie, can be pretty shy with new people, but Ashley connected with her so beautifully. By the second or third day, Smokie was more playful and even excited to see her when she came by. Ashley gave us thorough updates, photos, and thoughtful check-ins that really put us at ease. The way she tuned into Smokieâs needs and her gentle, attentive approach made all the difference. We highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter. We will definitely be using her again!

Madison helped me out at the last minute when my normal sitter fell through! She was willing to do a video call so I could show her everything while she was at work which I was super grateful for, and took great care of my kitty :) she even gave him his medicine and took him outside in his stroller. Iâll definitely book Madison again!
