Also Bria's location is great for Petworth area - convenient and near the center of things but with a nice peaceful section of neighborhood for walks. About: I grew up with a dog and cat that made me realize at a young age just how important they are in the household. That’s why when I got my own place, I knew I had to adopt! My beloved dog, Laya, has recently passed so I figured this would be a great time to provide my home to others needing a temporary safe, loving space. I’m extremely outdoorsy, so going on a walk, run or whatever your canine companion may want is more than okay with me! Playing fetch and tug-o-war is part of my daily activities... Oh! And don’t forget the belly rubs! I work especially well with anxious pups, and am able to train the most stubborn pups. I am currently a stay at home mom, and so I would be able to have all hands on deck full time. About: Ever since childhood, my family has had cats, laying the foundation for my lifelong love for animals. Oscar and Casper, who have since passed away, came into our lives from the Greenbelt Animal Shelter. In 2020, I finally convinced my dad to let me adopt a dog, and my excitable pandemic pup, Kahlua, joined our family from K-9 Lifesavers, a rescue organization based in VA. After becoming a dog parent, I quickly immersed myself in "human training" -- participating in training classes at Petco and Your Dog's Friends in Rockville. I learned to understand dog body language, worked to socialize her with humans and other animals, and even taught her a few fun tricks at home. Currently, Kahlua and I live in College Park, MD, with a fenced backyard and sunny back deck perfect for lounging. While I'm happy to come to your house for drop-in care, I'm also available for full day care here at my house. Kahlua is always eager to make new friends, and there is plenty of space to accommodate separate spaces as well. I'm currently working from home with a flexible schedule, so I can be present and attentive throughout the day if you choose to drop your pup off here; or I can come by your home for drop-in visits throughout the day. Just let me know what you would prefer! As a pet parent, I understand the anxieties that comes with entrusting someone else with your baby, and prioritize safety above all else. “Bria took care of our 40 lb pooch for a long weekend in October. It seemed like Mocha had a great time. The fact that Bria owns a dog was a plus for Mocha, since they got along well. I think the starting point for a lot of services including pet sitting is good clear communication and this is a strength for Bria. She is easy to reach, easy to make arrangements with, and quick to follow-up. She is interested in a good experience for the pet and attentive to details regarding any particular pet, which puts an owner's mind at ease. Good frequency of photos during Mocha's stay to give us a sense that things were alright. Also Bria's location is great for Petworth area - convenient and near the center of things but with a nice peaceful section of neighborhood for walks. Overall great experience and we would recommend her and have Mocha with her again.”

Nettie is very caring and attentive - she played with Tippy a lot and sent me tons of pictures and videos. Would not hesitate to have her take care of Tippy again!”
About: I grew up with a dog and cat that made me realize at a young age just how important they are in the household. That’s why when I got my own place, I knew I had to adopt! My beloved dog, Laya, has recently passed so I figured this would be a great time to provide my home to others needing a temporary safe, loving space. I’m extremely outdoorsy, so going on a walk, run or whatever your canine companion may want is more than okay with me! Playing fetch and tug-o-war is part of my daily activities... Oh! And don’t forget the belly rubs! My love for animals has peaked over the years, so this is an amazing opportunity for me to help them and their human companions live a happy, pawsitive, and adventure-filled life. :) I currently am only open on weekends due to my 9-5 job during the week and wanting to have enough time for your furry loved one. Any needs your pup/animals requires can absolutely be accomplished. I love cuddles on the couch to long hikes or runs any time of the day. Naps are also important!
