About: Hi! My name is Renee and I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I grew up in a household with many different kinds of pets including dogs, rodents, and reptiles. I currently own two small dogs, Shih Tzu and Maltese mixes, one is 13 and the other is 3. I love all animals and am comfortable with them all. About: I've loved animals my whole life, back to the days of summer camp at the National Zoo. I've walked many different dogs through watching friends' and neighbors' pets and volunteering at local animal shelters. I'm also a cat lover who has had cats in the house my whole life, and I even have some experience with pet fish! I have over 1000 hours working with animals in all aspects from basic husbandry and pet sitting to veterinary clinical care! I work at an animal hospital/daycare/boarding facility full time, so my availability for mid-day services such as walks or drop in visits would be limited to my days off (usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Due to my busy schedule working a full time job at a veterinary clinic, my services are best suited to individual walks or drop in visits, or sitting for pets that are able to be left alone for 8+ hours at a time.

Erica watched our cat Kot for 2 weeks with daily home visits and she was fantastic. We got photo updates after every visit, and it was so clear she genuinely loves cats. Kot’s warmed up to Erica fast — we even got pictures of him playing! Erica got to our cat new toys that he loves! Litter, food, and water were always taken care of, and she kept our home tidy. Coming back to a calm, happy Kot made our trip so much easier. We’ll definitely ask Erica again next time we travel.
Julie is truly a dog’s best friend! She’s incredibly warm, patient, and genuinely understands that every dog has their own unique personality, quirks, and triggers. She takes the time to build trust with each dog and makes them feel comfortable and safe. She’s also an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and giving us complete peace of mind. We always know our dogs are in the very best hands with Julie, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly!
We really appreciate Sarah being able to drop in on our cats with very short notice due to an emergency trip we had to take. Our kitties took to Sarah right away even though they have shied away from strangers before. I hope Sarah won't be a stranger to them for long because we will definitely request her as a sitter for any future trips we will take.
Connie has been a perfect addition to our pet sitters. We have a pretty anxious smaller pup who takes a while to warm up to strangers and she has been really patient with her. She is also great with our energetic young rottie. She is prompt with her replies to our requests for visits and even with last minute requests.
I love how conscientious Matilda is with all of our requests and providing feedback to us during her visits. My cat, Milo, is warming up to her and has even spent time on her lap (for my Scardy Cat - that is amazing). I hope to continue to use her during our travels.
This is the second time Maria has looked over our cat Lucy for us for a few days and she was just as wonderful this time as she was the last time. She’s very caring and gives Lucy the love and attention she needs while she is home alone. We will for sure trust her again to take care of our Lucy when needed.
