“Steven was incredible with my girls. He genuinely cares about what he is doing and gave both of my dogs so much care and support while I was away. They loved having him over for drop ins.”
About: With years of hands-on experience in pet care, I am dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your furry friends. I have cared for a wide range of animals, tailoring my approach to meet each pet’s specific needs and personality. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company, I ensure your pets receive the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands while they’re away. Pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine by being a flexible and rewarding part of my schedule. I prioritize my time to ensure that each pet receives the attention and care they need, whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, or simply spending quality time together. I enjoy tailoring my routine to meet the needs of each pet, ensuring their well-being and happiness. This not only allows me to provide excellent service to pet owners but also gives me the opportunity to connect with animals, which I find fulfilling and enjoyable. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a comfortable and stress-free environment tailored to each pet’s needs. By adapting my approach to the specific environment and needs of each pet, I aim to provide them with the best possible care and ensure their happiness and well-being.
About: I’ve cared for lots of pets over my years since I was younger. Family as well as neighbors and friends, providing walking to clean up well as bathing. It’s become a passion of mine and I’d love nothing more to help those care for their own when they are unable or can’t themselves. I’m working part time so I’ll have lots of time for your pets. I’m comfortable working with pets of all ages as well and providing as much help as I can. I’m in an apartment with enough space for your pet or pets to go for walks. Also for enrichment as well as anything else they need.
“Excellent job! I am very pleased with the way Isabelle took time to play with my cat. Last time I went away she was so anxious and stressed when I came home because that sitter just went in and out. But this time, my cat was happy to see me and there were no accidents! I will definitely use Isabelle in the future!”

“I loved how wonderful you are in taking care of Finn. You took professional pictures and made Finn look like a model. I'm so glad he behaved with you. I would love to have you back if I need you again in the future.”

“Marina was amazing! She helped us out last minute due to a work schedule change. She took great care of our golden retriever. Her rover card was very detailed, and the photos from the visit were terrific. Marina was very communicative, reliable, and caring. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and know how to take care of them. I’ve had a dog of my own until he passed away recently. The care and safety of your pets is my top priority. I believe in effective communication, so I will try my best to keep you updated throughout the process. I follow all my clients’ instructions and preferences, so you don’t have to worry about your home while you’re away; I make sure everything is locked up, treat your belongings with respect, and leave your home just as you left it so you can come back without extra stress, especially knowing how exhausting travel can be. I work fully remote so I work from home, so I can pack up and stay in your home whenever I'm available. I tend to adapt my daily schedule around my new roommates' schedules, so they don't get stressed out by the situation. I can also be of assistance for drop-in visits and for walking service. I work currently from Sunday to Tuesday so from Wednesday to Saturday I’m available to take care of your pets in whatever need they may have. I am unable to care for your pets at my home since my apartment doesn’t allow pets. Thank you for understanding. However I’m willing and able to care for them at your home.

I’m currently unemployed so I have tons of time to care for and play with your furry friends! I’m mostly available on weekends as I have responsibilities weekdays, but I’m very flexible! I have a fenced in yard. I would keep my dogs separate just as a proactive measure since they are small. In your home I would care for your precious pet how you see fit!

About: I grew up with dogs and as a teenager assisted walking our dogs and foster dogs of varying sizes. I also know how to take care of cats. I've worked at dog boarding facilities where I've taken care of unfamiliar dogs. I can work Friday to Sunday any time and mornings during the week days due to other responsibilities such as taking care of my own pets Monday to Thursday. I trust in my ability to handle any dog under 40 pounds. I am willing to walk well behaved dogs from the same household together. I would be uncomfortable handling large pully or reactive dogs but can handle calm or heel trained dogs up to 70 lbs.
“This was our first time using Rover. We were very happy with the care Lauren gave to our 3 cats. Loved getting the pictures each day. We will certainly request Lauren again.”

“Oliver was fantastic with our 2 cats. When we came back they were super relaxed, which is a great sign. Oliver sent us pics every day, and managed exactly as we agreed. Will definitely call back next time we’re out of town!”

Excellent job! I am very pleased with the way Isabelle took time to play with my cat. Last time I went away she was so anxious and stressed when I came home because that sitter just went in and out. Nichole took great care of my cat! She followed her feeding and cleaning routine well and was very communicative with updates. She was also reliable and responsible, and I never had to worry about my cat while under her care. Most importantly, she earned my shy cat's trust quickly 😺. I highly recommend Nichole for all pet care needs!
Denise is magical. We have a cat who is very reactive to strangers and dislikes changes in routine. We weren’t sure we’d be able to go on a family vacation and leave her at home in someone else’s care. But our difficult cat warmed up to Denise immediately, and they did fine the entire time we were gone. We loved the daily photos, assuring us that all was well. Would hire Denise again in an instant.

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter than Elona! She took care of our senior cat for a week, and the level of attention and care she provided was truly above and beyond. She diligently administered his anxiety and arthritis medications, kept all four of his water bowls fresh daily, played with his favorite toy to keep him happy, and even took the time to talk to him so he never felt alone. Our cat can be a handful with his special needs, but Elona handled everything with ease and genuine love. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pet like family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
