“We’ve had Astrid cat sit for us 4 times now and she is THE BEST!! She is so sweet and accommodating, trust worthy, and you can tell she really loves and adores our animals. She also sends the cutest pictures. If you are wondering whether or not to book her, DO IT!! She is so wonderful. Thanks Astrid :)”

“Teffni is wonderful! She took great care of my cats and I could tell in the many photos she sent that they were very comfortable and happy with her. She was also flexible with me adding extra days to the beginning and end of my booking.”

“Marina continues to be an excellent care taker of Suri She is always on time, communicates well, and is pleasant to work with. I highly recommend her especially if you have separation anxiety like me. Your dog is in great hands!”

“Erin was the absolute best! This was my first time requesting a service at my home and I was truly nervous about trusting someone. I was immediately put at ease during my introduction meeting with Erin and had complete trust she would take the best care of Rocky. She sent pictures of him and what they did on the visit. I was able to see how happy he was and well taken care of while I was out of town.”

“Marion is absolutely wonderful. She is always quick to respond, takes amazing care of my Luna Tuna, and clearly has a genuine love for what she does. As a bonus, she even loves plants. I could not recommend her more.”

“Anton was fabulous with our pup. It had been a while since our family used Rover, I am so happy that we found him! He did several walks and check-ins for our dog while we were away. I loved the Rover card feature so we could see where our dog walked, what she did, and a photo! We had peace of mind knowing our pup was in good hands.”

“Ashley did a great job caring for our cats! The first time she came over to meet our girls, she asked really thoughtful questions about them and their routine. This told me she really cared about what she was doing and our cats were in good hands. She did a great job taking care of our kitty that gets medicine, and was able to adapt when our girl wasn't being super cooperative. We always got lots of cute pictures, and great updates on their Rover cards that made us less homesick. I feel like I can look forward to more trips, knowing that Ashley did such a great job with our fur babies!”

“Faith was amazing!! It’s always very anxiety inducing for me to leave my cats, especially since my one is very shy and easily startled. But she took such good care of them and even got my loner cat to come out for some love!! Faith is very communicative and I loved that she sent plenty of pictures each day. It’s obvious that she loves the cats and taking care of animals! I will not hesitate to book her next time I’m out of town :)”

“Samuel was a wonderful sitter! He was very attentive and responsible, he sent great summaries and pictures, and was flexible when fitting me in last minute. My rambunctious kitty had a great with him!”

“Connie is my go to sitter for a very good reason, because my experience with her over the last four years has been exemplary. I trust her with my fur baby family without reservation. On my last trip my baby Mylah had a crisis with a chronic disease and Connie went above and beyond to get my pet the help she needed. Because of experiences like this, I know she treats my furry kids like her own. She is an amazing person and I trust her completely when it comes to my furry family.”
“Hayley was amazing! Arrived early/on time and took lots of pictures. We asked for help on short notice and she delivered! We came home to a happy dog and cat. Will definitely use her again!”
“Excellent job! I am very pleased with the way Isabelle took time to play with my cat. Last time I went away she was so anxious and stressed when I came home because that sitter just went in and out. But this time, my cat was happy to see me and there were no accidents! I will definitely use Isabelle in the future!”

“Paola, as always, was an amazing sitter for our cats. My partner and I got to enjoy a nice night out without any worries or stress about our special needs cats, since we knew they were in good hands!”

“Nichole was wonderful with our cats and cockatiels! She sent us photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our pets warmed up to her surprisingly quickly, and it was clear they were well cared for. We will definitely be booking Nichole again for our future trips. Highly recommend!”

“Maura was absolutely wonderful with Duchess! This was my first time leaving Duchess home without me for several days, so I was definitely a little nervous, but Maura made the entire experience so much easier. She was attentive, spent quality time with her, took her on walks, and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. I especially appreciated how consistent Maura was with sending updates and pictures and letting me know how Duchess was doing throughout the day. I would absolutely book with Maura again. I think Duchess may have officially found herself a new babysitter!”

“Karen was wonderful with our dog and two rabbits. Our dog takes some time to warm up to new sitters, but Karen handled it graciously and she reported that our dog was good friends with her by her last visit. We really appreciated the photos from her visits and her frequent communication gave us peace of mind that everything was going well. We look forward to using Karen again the next time we are away.”

Nichole is a wonderful pet sitter! Our pets were well cared for and we had complete peace of mind while we were away. Great communication, dependable, and clearly someone who genuinely loves animals. We came home to happy, well-loved pets! We will absolutely book Nichole again next time we’re away.

This was my first time using Rover and I was a bit anxious how it would go and giving a stranger access to our home. Especially because one of our 2 cats has kidney disease kitty and needs fluid injections every 2 days. But Sarah was absolutely lovely and awesome. You can see that she loved our two kitties, and it looks like everything went really well with our kidney patient. I got pictures and videos every day and they both warmed up easily to Sarah. Sarah gave me a real piece of mind while traveling and I will definitely book her next time I need a sitter ( if she is available). Thank you!!!

Faith was amazing!! It’s always very anxiety inducing for me to leave my cats, especially since my one is very shy and easily startled. But she took such good care of them and even got my loner cat to come out for some love!! Faith is very communicative and I loved that she sent plenty of pictures each day. Bianca really helped us out at the last minute with checking on our cat Brisa while we were gone for a few days. She was able to take up the info we left quickly and without any preceding intro visit. We really appreciate the attention she paid to Brisa and making sure to send great updates. We would hire her again without a second thought!

Katie is fantastic! She was an excellent care giver when a crisis arose. Mcat passed away in her care due to underlying conditions none of us knew about. Her quick response to get him to the er vet and contact my emergency contacts was amazing. I was out of reach at the time due to timezone differences. She did a great job handling such a difficult situation. I absolutely would hire her again.

Betty took great care of our two cats. She also did a great job communicating, letting us know if she was going to be a bit late to a check-in and even sending pictures of proof of cleaning the litter boxes 🙂. She also made friends with our less social cat, which was wonderful to see!

Big thanks to Natalia and Edward for taking such amazing care of our two cats! They were very attentive and communicative and made sure everything went smooth while we were away. I could tell my cats were happy and well-loved, which says a lot of the care Natalia and Edward provided. I really appreciated the updates—they kept me totally at ease. I am particularly thankful for the daily pictures and for flagging that one of the automatic feeders wasn't working properly. Reach out to them if you’re looking for trustworthy pet sitters.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Windham Manor. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
