“I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Edward and Natalia. We had a meet and greet a week prior where they asked a lot of questions and observed Ralphie with their sweet pup, Liz Lemon. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”

“Thomas was an absolutely amazing and wonderful sitter for our little pup. We’re also so worried about leaving her with a sitter because she suffers from horrible anxiety and is so fearful of a lot of things (new people included), but from all the pictures that Thomas had sent us, it seemed like our little pup was able to quickly make a home and feel at peace for the duration of the sit. Besides being a good sitter for our fearful pup, Thomas was also very flexible and responsive. We had booked him so last minute, and we couldn’t get home in time due to the recent snow storm. As anxious as we were about these problems, Thomas was great and alleviated a lot of our stress by accepting and kindly taking care of our pup for even longer than intended. Highly recommend! And we hope to book him again sometime in the future!”

About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.

This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

About: I had dogs growing up and now dog (Bo 4 1/2 years) needs a friend to play to get his wiggles out and socialize. He loves to play ball, walks and run around. My husband and I work from home most days and have a very flexible schedule. We really like the idea of drop off play dates as our dogs lives to play. We have a fully fenced in yard for the dogs to run around and play. We do have a crate if that is something you prefer for when they aren’t playing, however our puppy can roam our house.

We are a couple who works from home and are willing to share our space with furry friends. We have one dog at home: Zubi, male, almost 6 years old, a rescue and is a black lab mix approximately 82 pounds. He is great with new furry friends, loves to run around, play fetch, go on walks, and is extremely friendly. We are willing to provide overnight boarding as well as doggie daycare services. We know how very important your pets are to you and are welcome to share our space with them. We treat our pets as extensions of our family and will do the same for your pets. We both work from home so we have the flexibility to play and walk pets during the day! Pets will have access to our fenced yard to come and go during the day. We have a huge fenced-in yard and our own pets to keep your fur baby company. We do not crate our dogs but we can definitely keep them separate if need be.

About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. I also recently lost my 10 year old corgi (Sadie) unexpectedly to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, and so would love the opportunity to spend some therapeutic time with your furry kid. Prior to beginning work through Rover, I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs for a variety of friends, family, and neighbors including everything from drop-in visits and dog walking to full-time house/petsitting. Outside of my petsitting duties, I am a PhD chemist working hard to make the battery in your phone last longer and your electric car drive further. My wife and I moved to the Silver Spring area in 2024 for her job as a television producer and I am in the process of establishing myself in the DMV research community. Availability: Except in special cases, I am available for booking at any time of day, any day of the week. I am happy to provide everything from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays. About: I’ve taken care of many animals from dogs, cats, to even certain reptiles, which makes me comfortable with all kinds of animals no matter the shape or size. My daily and weekly routine naturally includes taking care of my pets, and I make sure to give them lots of compassion, consistency, and attention. In order to keep an eye on my general health and mood, I set aside time each day for feeding, fresh water, walks or exercise, and check-ins. Whether it's cleaning feeding places, maintaining litter boxes, or organizing pet areas, I'm conscious of keeping the surroundings tidy. To keep pets cognitively and physically engaged throughout the week, I integrate lengthier walks, play sessions, and enrichment activities. I also keep an eye out for any behavioral or appetite shifts and provide regular reports. My schedule is both flexible enough to accommodate each pet's particular requirements and organized enough to guarantee that they always feel loved, safe, and cared for. When it comes to taking care of pets, whether in my own house or a client's, my primary goals are safety, trust, and a peaceful atmosphere. To make sure each creature feels safe and comfortable, I take the time to learn about their routine, preferences, and any unique requirements. I respect a client's personal space and pay great attention to all care instructions, such as feeding schedules, walk routines, medicine (if necessary), and house regulations. I maintain their space tidy and orderly while ensuring that pets remain in a comfortable, stress-free setting. Additionally, I pay close attention to keeping an eye on my pets while they are outside and making sure they don't have access to anything dangerous. When I take care of pets at home, I make sure the space is hygienic, safe, and equipped for comfort and surveillance.
About: I have been taking care of my family friends' pets since I was 10. One of those family friends had a chicken, two cats, 1 dog, 2 bearded dragons, hamsters, fish, and a turtle (not to mention a garden to tend to!) all in one go, and I was the one that was called to take care of them all when the family was out of town. I also cared for a 17 year old cat, making sure to give her the medication she needed in a timely manner. I helped my friend care for and train their puppy when it was 10 weeks old, which included socializing it in a variety of situations. Most recently, I took care of my friends axolotl, which had its own specific needs. These experiences have definitely taught me the joys and responsibilities of caring for a pet. Any pet care would easily fit into my everyday schedule. I am currently not working so I am quite flexible every day of the week. I already go on walks at least twice a day, which could easily include a dog by my side! There are trails by my house that I typically love to go to, and beaches where I am a regular. We are a very pet friendly household. I have an entire empty bedroom for a dog to play in or to put their kennel, if they are kennel trained. We do not mind having dogs on the couches in the living room and porch. I spend a lot of time in common spaces already and so much of my time would be spent with the pet, either playing with them, or in their company if I'm working on things on the computer.

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Edward and Natalia. We had a meet and greet a week prior where they asked a lot of questions and observed Ralphie with their sweet pup, Liz Lemon. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. They deserve this 5-star review and j would recommend them to my friends and family without hesitation.”
