“Neil watched over our 2 pups on super last minute notice. So appreciative of that and he provided excellent care. He sent us updated pictures and videos and even took our pups on a nearby hike.. Neil is so kind and warm hearted. Got to meet him in advance and he welcomed us back home before he ended his sit. Our home was in great shape upon our arrival. Will be keeping in touch with Neil for future sits.”

“Matilda has a very gentle and kind heart and was a beautiful choice for my pets. She also left my home spotless. I highly recommend Matilda for your needs. Although the star review system does not show up in the public page. I left five.”

“Megan did an extraordinarily beautiful job kitty sitting with Rosie. She was there for Rosie in all the most important ways, giving her truely undivided attention. She gave Rosie whole assurance that she was completely there for her, taking care and overseeing all her needs as well as being truly a faithful companion and a dear playful friend which she needed. Megan has a special intelligence and truely a deep for working with animals. She brought constancy in the way she followed through with everything she did for Rosie. I would most highly recommend her as a kitty sitter Megan brought an invaluable intelligence to the job. She brought invaluable skills to the job with a deep understanding for Rosie’s needs.”

About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

“Elizabeth doesn't just sit your dogs she adopts them. Our Ella got very sick while we were gone and Elizabeth took such good care of her and kept us informed. I really can't say enough about how Elizabeth went out of her way to take care of our sick girl, her genuine concern and compassion was matched by actions.”

“Lyn was timely, kind, and did a great job taking care of our home and our three animals. I would book her again in a heartbeat. Our fur babies loved her and our high anxiety dog was glued to her side the whole time. He felt so comfortable with her.”

“Elizabeth was great! She came to the house to meet the animals before we left for vacation to make sure we felt comfortable. She’s a great communicator and we got multiple pictures updates everyday we were away!”

“Hannah was very communicative and seemed to have a deep care for all of my animals. I received regular updates, as well as updates when anything unusual occurred (which only happened once, thankfully!). I felt secure knowing my animals were being looked after by Hannah.”

“Elizabeth was communicative and reliable while I was away. She sent regular updates, took great care of my pup, and even watered the outdoor plants, which I really appreciated. I came home to a happy pet and everything in good shape. Thank you!”

“Natalie was great with Georgie and Evie. She is prompt, reliable, trustworthy and will update me when I’m out of town which is comforting. Can’t wait to have her back again! :)”

“I cannot say enough good things about Gabriel. We met with our dogs, to see how they would be together and he and I talked about the weekend I needed puppy-sitting. Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. I don't travel very often, but I would like to confirm that he is a magnificent pet sitter and I hope he gets lots of business because he deserves all good things!!!”

“Natasha was simply wonderful! Communicative, sending regular updates and photos, personable, reliable and friendly. She took very good care of my baby boy Louie while I was out of town. Highly recommend Natasha for your pet sitting needs!”

“I know Levon works mostly with dogs and I was very happy he was available on short notice (I had another rover sitter cancel within a week of my trip) to watch my sweet Anna. She can be shy and she was comfortable with Levon and he was able to give her the medication she needs. He was responsive and kept me updated. I would book with him again!”

“Sara house sat my older dog for 5 days. It was a good experience for me- she communicated well, sent pics, dog was happy, and my house was clean when I returned. I would not hesitate to call on her again for future needs.”

“10/10 will rebook! Shannon was responsive, warm, and asked incredibly thoughtful questions that showed just how much she cares — not only about animals but about providing truly exceptional care. She was wonderful with our two dogs and two cats, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such loving hands. The pictures she sent while we were away were precious and it was so great to see how relaxed and comfortable our crew felt. Thank you for the best care, Shannon!”

“Kris was great - our pets took to her quickly and she provided updates as requested. She was respectful of our house. We would definitely book with her again. She also navigated a bizarre scenario where our smoke detectors went off for ultimately no discernable reason with professionalism and understanding.”

“Amy-Elizabeth was wonderful! She took excellent care of our 2 dogs and cat, as well as our home. She left our house better than she found it and our animals seemed so happy with her! Her communication was excellent and we felt so confident that our fur babies were well taken care of while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
