About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

Instead of either staying at his apt or mine, because she is a very recent rescue, I asked if he could keep her at his place during the day but then have all 3 of them come and sleep at my apt at night. I did this so that she would know that even if she gets dropped off somewhere else, she is ALWAYS coming back to her home. This worked out very well and he is just the most caring person when it comes to our dogs. About: When I was 11 years old, I was gifted with my own dog to care for. Since then, I have always watched dogs. I developed certain skills overtime to now be able to train puppies My schedule is very flexible. I am currently working as a full-time college student online.
