Our oldest cat started showing signs of a heat stroke the night before we were traveling internationally. The next morning he was not in good shape and we had a flight to catch. Cynthia was not even scheduled to start until the next day but we had no one else to reach out to ( we were 2 weeks new to North Carolina!). She was there for us and took our cat to the emergency center and waited there for a couple of hours, working with the staff there and keeping us posted while we made our way to the airport. She kept us updated daily and we could not have asked for anyone other than Cynthia for taking care of our fur babies. We are so grateful to you Cynthia. Thank you for everything !”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and they are a huge part of my life. I’ve gotten all my animals when they were a puppy or kitten so I understand the consistency the little ones need! I’m currently on an online masters student so my schedule can be pretty flexible. I like to keep my weekends free but during the week I’m able to move around my assignments to work with your pup or cat’s schedule! I have 2 shih tzu’s (5&7) and an orange tabby cat (3). My dogs love going for about 15 minute walks in the morning and afternoon after they eat. They also love play time so I love playing with them and giving them so many pets! My cat is such a love bug. We hangout and just do our own thing or we play with her fishing rod or mousey toys!

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs, and our kids are great at playing gently with animals....so we are opening our home (with a fenced in yard) to take great care of your sweet furry friend while you're away. We don't have any dogs or cats of our own; we will treat yours like our own and include them in our family life while they’re here. We have a fenced yard and no other furry pets to compete for attention. We can walk your dog in our quiet neighborhood, and they’ll have plenty of space to relax in our house too. Our only pet is a small, nonvenomous corn snake who stays in his terrarium all the time, behind closed doors if needed. We are trusting you to be honest up front about your pet's needs and behavior so we can all have the best experience. Let’s do an in person meet & greet to make sure it’s a good fit! We work from home & hybrid so it’s normal to have one or both of us home during the whole work day. The kids have school & activities that we take turns driving them back and forth to - typical family life that we just integrate our dog friends into while giving them attention & walks along the way. We board pets in our home when we are available and know we are going to be home a good amount of the time. We go out in the backyard with them. Note that our house has stairs.

I have a friendly cat myself and abundance of space in my home for your cat to play and relax in! Since my husband and I work from home your cat will not feel alone. Instead they will be showered with love from my husband and I and from our friendly cat! We will be able to work around multiple feeding schedules and ensure a clean litter box is available for your cat. We are also able to separate our cat from yours if your cat doesn’t prefer company by giving your cat a large or small space (based on their preference). We live in a quiet neighborhood with barely any noise. We have multiple rooms we can set up your cat in if they prefer solitude or the whole house if they prefer space. We do not leave our doors open or unlocked since we have an indoor cat and we like to be super safe. We have camera set up in the front and back of the house as well. We see our cat as a part of our family and give it the love and respect as a household member which makes it easy to love and care for others cats! We were even delayed on our return and she graciously volunteered to stay a little longer to give a little extra TLC to our fur babies.
