About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: I’ve never gone a single year of my life without having a dog or a cat, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I also have experience working at a veterinary clinic, where I learned how to provide attentive, compassionate care and recognize the unique needs of different pets. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 10 years and love treating each of them like they are my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and love making pets feel happy! I have also been a trusted sitter for relatives and neighbors and make their pets feel at home. I’m happy to stick to your pets usual routine to ensure the best possible experience. I’m am able to tailor my schedule to your needs to accommodate. I provide my upmost attention to our pets, and can accommodate requests as needed. I live alone in an apartment, so your pet will get plenty of attention in a calm and quiet space. I also have a large private patio that’s perfect for fresh air and play. About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. I have extensive training in how to properly care for your dogs (and cats!) I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have three rescue dogs; a 12 year old Papillon named Archie, a 2 year old Papillon named Zoloft, and a 6 year old Maltipoo named Toaster! Although I absolutely adore all dogs, small dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. A little more about me: I am 31 years old and I am an on-set prop master in television/film. I am located in Cheektowaga, but I have a car so I don’t mind traveling a few extra miles! I work freelance so I have an abundance of free time between films! I have no other responsibilities when I’m off set, so I can focus all of my energy on your furry friend! I do everything in my power to make each pet feel comfortable and loved. I also spend a lot of time exercising and mentally stimulating each pet.

About: I have worked in the pet care industry since I was around ten years old , in which I started pet sitting for many neighbors and relatives. Absolutely love animals and would love to continue working with them. I'm very comfortable with all types of animals, as I have owned pets my entire life including large dogs, cats, and rodents, I also feel comfortable with all types of reptiles even though I have not personally owned them. I now own my cat named Jellybean who is full of energy. I am very free on weekends but have other times during the week that I am able to work during. Such as mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am willing to discuss working other times as preferred. I am currently a student at University at Buffalo looking for another outlet to spend time with pets. With ten plus years of experience, I have learned to read body language of animals and how to respond based on what they are saying. I respect boundaries of animals so they can build trust with me. About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

About: I never had the pleasure of owning a dog of my own growing up, so I always had a greater appreciation for the moments I got to enjoy being in the company of a friendly dog. I have always loved animals in general and dogs especially. Your dog will be in great, caring hands with me. Over the past year I have walked many dogs through other dog walking apps and have enjoyed the time I got to spend with them. About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. I have been animal/house sitting for over a decade and am grateful for each opportunity given to help and serve. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and two fur babies. On weekends, my husband, kiddos (fur babes included), and I spend time in the outdoors, hiking, picnics, walks etc. Our pets and those that we watch are considered family members, therefore have our constant attention, love, and affection! We have an adequate fenced in backyard space for pups to play and enjoy frequent visits to the park. With drop in, checking food and water are on the list along with potty outside, playing ball (or throwing stuffies/ frisbee 🥏) and rubs.
