“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Jessica to walk my pit bull, Roxanne, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jessica is incredibly professional, punctual, and has a natural affinity with dogs. Roxanne, who can be quite energetic and strong-willed, took to Jessica immediately”

“Super nice, and is definitely a good person and a dog person- my dog was comfortable with her immediately! We all know dogs are the BEST judges of character.”

About: In my life, I have had several dogs, I grew up with 3 Labrador Retrievers English and American (90lbs-50lbs). Each of them passed years within each other. I grew up with them when they were puppies, until they passed. They required medication, and assistance with standing to go potty. (hip dysplasia in labs is very common.) I owned a pitbull, Zeus for a few years before he passed of Lymphoma. I adopted him at 5 years old and cared for him as he passed, making sure he had medication to make him comfortable, and of course good food. He was the biggest cuddle bug! Now I own a Dutch Sheperd, who is a working dog with high energy. I am experienced in a variety of breeds, high energy and low, I know big dogs well. For my Dogs, I have had to take care of hip dysplasia, incontinence, later/senior life care, anxiety, and more. So I can follow a tight night schedule of potty breaks, walks, diet restrictions, food schedules, medications, and more. I am a student, so I am pretty wide open when it comes to my schedule. I shouldn't have many problems with fitting into your schedule and needs, unless I have other clients prior to your requests. I would love to have a list of everything to expect from your pet while at your home. All of their little quirks and things they might do. This includes, per example if your dog gets excited and has urine incontinence, I would like to know just for reference to know what to expect. I will respect the home and leave in the condition I found it in, cleaning up any messes made.

“Very trustworthy with my dog and I know she has a good understanding of best practices when walking dogs of all skill levels! Always appreciate how good she is about being on time and giving updates.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for the past 4 years, as well as growing up taking care of dogs as well. I understand the need for quality time and care needed for every pet! I currently work part-time (including weekends), so I will not be gone for more than 4-5 hours. I am applying for grad school starting in the fall, so updates will be coming on when that schedule will change. I have cared for pets that need more immediate care and attention and those that are more independent. Whatever your routine with you let us, I am quick to learn and ask questions to understand in order to keep their routines as consistent as possible.

“Sarah is awesome! She has been taking panda on walks several times a week for us. She is always on time and does a great job, panda gets so excited when Sarah comes! We are so happy to have met Sarah through rover. She will not disappoint!”

About: I have loved dogs since I was young. From our family dog Casey to my current dog Jack, I have been caring for dogs large and small, young and old, for 27 years. I am flexible and communicative, offering in-house sitting, drop ins, and walking services. I ensure your dog feels safe and well cared for. I am currently working from home part time, with a very flexible schedule. I am willing to adapt my schedule as much as possible to accommodate the needs of any pet owner. In a client’s home, I aim to follow their normal routine for their pet as closely as possible. With a flexible schedule, I am able to accommodate any pet routine, and am willing to administer any extra care a pet needs.

“Thank you, Maeve for giving Pico so much love and attention on your first visit with him. You were so respectful and attentive to all our specific instructions for pampering our boy. We are grateful and can’t wait to have you back again soon 🐾💕”

“Excellent communication and all of my dogs were very happy and tired. Great job!”

About: I grew up with two dogs, one of which is still living! I have dogsat for many family and friends in the past. Most of the time I spend time staying over at their houses because it is more convenient for their pets. I love making pets feel comfortable in their own homes when the owners are out of town. I also enjoy walking, petting, playing with, and taking care of your pets. I am happy to keep your pets entertained and safe while you are away and can be trusted to take great care of your pets. I am available to watch your pets at any time and/or day of the week & weekend up until the last week in May. Beginning in June my schedule will change with respect to weekdays. Most of the time I watch others’ pets at their homes where their pets are most comfortable. I follow the exact rules the caregiver gives me and I am respectful of their space. I am very clean and organized.

“Jenny was extremely thoughtful and communicative. She’s honestly probably the best dog walker we’ve ever had, and we’re sad to leave her behind as we move to a different area. She’ll truly care for your pup and will communicate with you the whole way, highly recommended.”

“Fantastic!! My dog loved her walks with Kristen. Prompt, great communication, and great with my fur kids. Highly recommend.”

My experience spans from caring for energetic puppies to administering medical, palliative, and end of life care. Currently, I share my home with three dogs, two foster dogs, and two cats. I am committed to ensuring that each pet in my care receives the best care possible. I am eager to meet your pet and attend to their unique needs with the same dedication and care. I work part time from home, so I can be flexible. Let's discuss what works best for you and your pet. I am available most everyday. I am a trustworthy person and I am respectful of people's homes and privacy. I have reliable transportation and will do what I can to meet the needs of your babies.

About: I love spending quality time with dogs and giving them love. Dogs are an extension of your family. I’m the type of person that greets the pups before the humans. Taking them for walks and allowing them to sniff around and playing tug of war. While respecting boundaries and owners request. I have a 5 year old Great Dane and a 4 year old Pit Mix. I can handle large and small breed dogs. I’m currently working a flexible full time job. I can make arrangements if needed to be available additional days in the week for overnight care. I will ensure to follow instructions left and that your pup gets all the attention needed before they head to bed. In the event your pup is crate trained, I will make sure that they are in safely after going out one last time before bed.

“Jamie was outstanding for the week that I needed her. She was super courteous and prompt. Texted me real time updates and was on time. She is super sweet and friendly with Kona. 100/10 will use her again.”

“Dogs seemed to be happy after the walk!”

“My dog Luna is a sweetheart, but gets a little worked up when she see other dogs. Jackie never lets this quirk keep her from taking Lu on a great walk. My schedule can be a little hectic and I greatly appreciate that Jackie is flexible for short notice requests and always responds quickly.”

“She handled my super anxious dog very well. Very happy with her service.”

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.
