About: Having recently graduated from undergrad, I’ve spent the past few years pet sitting for friends and family whenever they’ve gone on vacation. I have two cats of my own and grew up with pets at all times. Whether it’s boarding, drop-in visits, or dog walking, I aim to provide a safe, attentive, and comfortable experience for both pets and their owners. I recently graduated from undergrad and am currently working part-time while job searching, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! My work schedule varies from week to week, but I receive it two weeks in advance and can plan accordingly. About: - I have a 3 yr old rescue named Maisy who deals with reactivity so we no longer offer boarding or daycare in our home. I also have a 9 year old Belgian Malinois who my boyfriend rescued from animal fighting. She is sweet as pie and a people lover. Both of my dogs have undergone training programs at the art of dog. Maisy has also done training at the happy hound. Both girls are healthy and up to date on vaccines. - I previously fostered for Buffalo Underdogs Rescue, which gives me a chance to help save many amazing dogs, learn to potty train and care for puppies and young dogs - I volunteer at white whiskers dog sanctuary where I have learned to care for elderly and special needs pups - I grew up dog-sitting for neighbors and friends and also have a family senior dog who I grew up caring for - I have volunteered as a dog walker for a local animal shelter I work remotely on Fridays and can be home all weekend. Monday through Thursday I work in the office in downtown Buffalo near canal side. I am open to services on these days after 5pm. I will follow the specific instructions left for me by the owner. I ask for a thorough and detailed list of information regarding how to make your pet happy and well taken care of so I can be sure to provide the best care I can. I will treat your pet like they are my own.

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs since I was 10. I helped train our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy at a young age, and played a great role in taking care of her for the next six years. I’ve dog sat and dog walked friends and families dogs plenty of times over the past few years. Some of these dogs were beagles, labradors, retrievers, and collies. I’m currently an undergraduate student, I only have two or three classes a day and then I’m available for the rest of the day! When I’m on school breaks, I work a part time job, giving me a lot of free time to watch your fur baby. My house has a fenced in yard making it easy to take out your pet. I have no other pets currently, ensuring you a safe environment if they’re at my home. I can easily put your pet in a crate if needed, and I’m very attentive!

About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.

About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. I’ll be ready to work with bigger dogs again very soon once my leg fully heals! About: I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a 24/7 ER hospital in the area. I have worked/interned at Petsmart and the Buffalo Zoo. I have graduated college with degree in animal behavior, ecology, and conservation and a minor in zoo biology. I have pet sat for many families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. My responsibilities for these animals included giving flea and tick medication, general medication, feedings, playtime, multiple walks a day, cleaning up the yard, keeping good water levels, etc. I also have a fear free shelter certification. I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant at an ER hospital, but have availability on my days off to do drop ins or walks When owners leave their pet with me I understand that it is all about trust that their pet will be in good hands. Many owners like me to come over prior to so I can meet their pet and get specific directions for caring for them as well as seeing where everything is. Every owner will have specific directions for how to take care of their pet and I make sure to follow those directions and consult them with any questions that might come up.I will never attempt to take care of a pet I am not comfortable with taking on and will always ask for clarification about how to do something I don’t know how to do. I also will send updates and photos as often as the owners would like so they have assurance that their pet is happy and healthy!

About: Hi! I’m Mary. I am a stay at home mom of 5 year old twins and a 12 year old shihtzu mix. I became a dog walker 5 days a week in September of 2024 by chance and realized how much I love it. I’ve been around animals my whole life, currently including my 8 chickens! If you’re looking for a dog walker, I walk in all weather. I can also just pop in and hang out for a bit and let them out for a potty, change litter boxes, feed, etc! I am experienced with all types of dogs, cats, and other animals and I hope to meet yours too! Currently booked for weekly walks 12-1pm on Monday Tuesday and Fridays. Only other commitment is school drop off and pickup for my twins, otherwise open! I am open to all types of animal care and have experience with elderly dogs. I have cared for big and small dogs, cats, chickens, fish, etc.
