About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

With a golden retriever of my own, for the past 7 years I've taken care of my dog along with 10 other dogs from time to time for periods as short as a couple of days to a couple of months. I'm a recent college graduate home for the summer working remotely that is ready to attend to all of your pet's needs! I can easily integrate their schedule into mine Having a large dog for the past 9 years, our house is "dog proof" while also containing all the amenities (big fenced in yard, toys galore, & a furry companion) any pet needs, your pet will also be on vacation! About: I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a 24/7 ER hospital in the area. I have worked/interned at Petsmart and the Buffalo Zoo. I have graduated college with degree in animal behavior, ecology, and conservation and a minor in zoo biology. I have pet sat for many families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. My responsibilities for these animals included giving flea and tick medication, general medication, feedings, playtime, multiple walks a day, cleaning up the yard, keeping good water levels, etc. I also have a fear free shelter certification. I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant at an ER hospital, but have availability on my days off to do drop ins or walks When owners leave their pet with me I understand that it is all about trust that their pet will be in good hands. Many owners like me to come over prior to so I can meet their pet and get specific directions for caring for them as well as seeing where everything is. Every owner will have specific directions for how to take care of their pet and I make sure to follow those directions and consult them with any questions that might come up.I will never attempt to take care of a pet I am not comfortable with taking on and will always ask for clarification about how to do something I don’t know how to do. I also will send updates and photos as often as the owners would like so they have assurance that their pet is happy and healthy!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, can't imagine life without them! I've dog sat numerous times for friends and family that have a variety of different dog breeds. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab at my home in Buffalo,NY named Jaxon and it has been so amazing to get to train him and see him grow, he's the best! When I'm away at school I miss him so much so I'm on rover to get my puppy/dog fix until I go back home! I'm a graduate student who just wrapped up an athletic career at SHU so now have loads of free time since classes are online and at night! I have a lot of experience with dogs in various settings. I've had an old dog and a young dog so I understand the difference in care each age group needs.

About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.
About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.
About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. I have extensive training in how to properly care for your dogs (and cats!) I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have three rescue dogs; a 12 year old Papillon named Archie, a 2 year old Papillon named Zoloft, and a 6 year old Maltipoo named Toaster! Although I absolutely adore all dogs, small dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. A little more about me: I am 31 years old and I am an on-set prop master in television/film.
