About: I’ve been dog sitting for the past 4 years, as well as growing up taking care of dogs as well. I understand the need for quality time and care needed for every pet! I currently work part-time (including weekends), so I will not be gone for more than 4-5 hours. I am applying for grad school starting in the fall, so updates will be coming on when that schedule will change. I have cared for pets that need more immediate care and attention and those that are more independent. Whatever your routine with you let us, I am quick to learn and ask questions to understand in order to keep their routines as consistent as possible.

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.
