About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I can try to train even the most stubborn of dogs, I am patient and stubborn too and will keep trying. It may take awhile.
