About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: Dogs have been a part of my family since childhood. My sweet dog, June, passed at the age of 15 last year. I have a loving home, great yard, and daily walks to share! I have experience with small to large dogs, including rescues and puppies. I work from home several days a week, and have open weekend availability to give your pet love and support while you are away. I walk everyday, even when not hosting a pet. My home is accustomed to the routine and flow of having a dog in the family, so your pet will be loved and cared for like family while you are away! It has never been fenced because I preferred to be outside when the dog was outside, and walks are my preference. Your dog will be leashed and accompanied for safety and support, whenever I venture outside. I can crate your pet if that provides security. About: I've had a dog since I was little, so I grew up with dogs. I have trained my roommate's dog some tricks: gives paw, high five, spin, speak, whisper, and other tricks. I can try to train even the most stubborn of dogs, I am patient and stubborn too and will keep trying. It may take awhile. I love long walks, I usually do recall and discipline (stop, sit and wait until no more pulling) while we are on walks. I am pretty available right now when it comes to daytime. Bigger dogs will be more of a challenge for me, but as long as they don't bite I'll be okay. I am excited for this opportunity to show dogs love and take care of them.

About: I have been a dog, cat and all manner of other animals mama for more than 30 years. I believe that our furbabies are family and I treat them as such. I have never met an animal that I didn't love. I look forward to loving your babies the same way that I love mine and giving them as much attention and love as they can handle. About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. Tatyjana was phenomenal! She took great care of our 8 month old corgi, Poke, during his walk and was careful to not let our 3 year old indoor cat outside during the process!
