“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. About: I have had a pet for all 30 years of my life! My love for animals continued to grow and I am fortunate enough to have 3 cats and 1 doggo of my own! I have pet sit for a few senior dogs and love giving them the love and attention they need! If it has paws, I’ll love them for sure! About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

“I feel like Courtney isn't just the best dog sitter, she's one of the best humans. She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! I can't recommend her highly enough, except I'll be sad if she ever ends up booked when I need her. I couldn't imagine using anyone else.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: I've had a dog since I was little, so I grew up with dogs. I have trained my roommate's dog some tricks: gives paw, high five, spin, speak, whisper, and other tricks. I can try to train even the most stubborn of dogs, I am patient and stubborn too and will keep trying. It may take awhile. I love long walks, I usually do recall and discipline (stop, sit and wait until no more pulling) while we are on walks. I am pretty available right now when it comes to daytime. Bigger dogs will be more of a challenge for me, but as long as they don't bite I'll be okay. I am excited for this opportunity to show dogs love and take care of them.

About: I’m a recently retired professional with a lifelong love of dogs and a home that feels a little too quiet these days. For many years, I cared for my own dog, who was truly part of my family. After losing him about a year ago, I’ve found myself missing the companionship, joy, and daily rhythm that comes with having a dog around. While I’m not quite ready for another full-time pet of my own, I would love to open my home to care for yours. Because I’m retired, I’m home most (if not all) of the day. That means your dog will get plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision-no long stretches alone. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, or just relaxing nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m experienced with daily routines like feeding, walking, administering basic care, and, most importantly, providing a calm, loving environment. I understand how important it is to feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for while you’re away, and I treat every dog as if they were my own.
