Normally I don’t leave my dogs with strangers however with this first time experience I have read other reviews about the sitters and their reviews have kept true to their words about the experiences and I have to say I stand by other of the reviewers with my dogs. “Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. “Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”

As a dog owner/lover, I know how important it is to have one-on-one attention which they’ll receive. As a rule, I only watch a maximum of 2 dogs at a time and have 1 of my own. If your dog is playful and in need of engagement and exercise, we are your place. I work full-time 7-4pm so I am available after work or during the weekends when I have full availability. I specialize in smaller dog breeds but will host larger dogs that are well tempered I have a fully fenced in backyard with ample room to run and play. My home is their home while they’re with me so it is very relaxed in the house. I can accommodate diets and feeding times with food you provide. Walking your dog is included but requires a harness and leash you provide.

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

About: Loving, cozy home close to the airport. I have taken care of dogs of all kinds from German shepherds to labs to cocker spaniels and pit bulls. My house is pretty close to the Buffalo airport. Great walkable neighborhood. I work part time so I have lots of time to spoil your fur baby! I have a large backyard. I have 2 cats that can easily be separated in my finished basement if your dog doesn’t like cats.

She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. I have been animal/house sitting for over a decade and am grateful for each opportunity given to help and serve. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and two fur babies. About: I have trained 2 dogs from puppyhood. We recently lost our beautiful lab/Shepard rescue, Dianna to heart failure. She loved her walks and we miss her dearly. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid. I love to interact with both dogs and cats. About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.
About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. Then when I was newly married I would watch friends and family's pets while they were away. I really enjoyed giving the pets attention and love like they were my own. I wanted both the owner and pet to not be stressed while away from each other but also have a good time! About: I've had a dog since I was little, so I grew up with dogs. I have trained my roommate's dog some tricks: gives paw, high five, spin, speak, whisper, and other tricks. I can try to train even the most stubborn of dogs, I am patient and stubborn too and will keep trying. It may take awhile. I love long walks, I usually do recall and discipline (stop, sit and wait until no more pulling) while we are on walks. I am pretty available right now when it comes to daytime. Bigger dogs will be more of a challenge for me, but as long as they don't bite I'll be okay. I am excited for this opportunity to show dogs love and take care of them.

Normally I don’t leave my dogs with strangers however with this first time experience I have read other reviews about the sitters and their reviews have kept true to their words about the experiences and I have to say I stand by other of the reviewers with my dogs. They have kept up to par with communications and pictures and I felt good knowing I made the right choice with the sitters. I would not mind having them again for my dogs ❤️”

“Charlette was great with my dog while I went away for two nights. I was hesitant to leave him with someone because he’s never stayed anywhere other than my house. Charlette assured me that everything would be okay and told my wife and I about other visits she’s had so I knew what to expect. I was given daily pictures and updates about how he was doing and I really comfortable with the amount of care he received. If I need to do a rover visit again I will definitely rebook with Charlette.”

“Had a magnificent experience leaving my boys ( 7 months old) with Annalisa. First, I must say that I am new to Rover and was leaving my pups for the first time, so needless to say I was nervous. Annalisa sensed our nervousness and first graciously came over to my home to meet us and the boys in their own environment with her own dog. The boys felt really comfortable with Annalisa and her dog. We then went to her place and the boys were thrilled again to see her and her dog once again, and they felt really comfortable at her home. So we felt at ease with the decision to leave them there. While we were on our trip we communicated daily and got pictures of the boys. Annalisa was easy to reach. She was always reassured us the boys were well and happy. She herself always seemed at ease and comfortable and happy to be with the boys. I always worry about how the boys will be accepted as they are very energetic and rambunctious but Annalisa seemed to take it all in stride.She even explained that she had to give one of the boys a bath as he had soiled himself. When we came to pick them up it was clear they were happy there. We feel very good about the whole experience. She did a wonderful job of making us feel at ease about leaving the boys there with her. Its clear the boys were well attended to and were made to feel at home there with her. It was important for us that the boys were treated as well as we try to treat them ourselves. Annalisa met all our needs and we trust her completely with the boys. We recommend her highly.”
