“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! She is a super experienced trainer and was amazing at providing a balance between structure/close monitoring for safety and a lot of fun play time for my girl. She sent a lot of updates and advice that was very helpful for our training as well! “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. I have been animal/house sitting for over a decade and am grateful for each opportunity given to help and serve. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and two fur babies. On weekends, my husband, kiddos (fur babes included), and I spend time in the outdoors, hiking, picnics, walks etc. Our pets and those that we watch are considered family members, therefore have our constant attention, love, and affection! We have an adequate fenced in backyard space for pups to play and enjoy frequent visits to the park. With drop in, checking food and water are on the list along with potty outside, playing ball (or throwing stuffies/ frisbee 🥏) and rubs.

About: I have trained 2 dogs from puppyhood. We recently lost our beautiful lab/Shepard rescue, Dianna to heart failure. She loved her walks and we miss her dearly. “I have a large, energetic 80 lb Saint Berdoodle (Archie), and I specifically hired Ian because Archie needs more enrichment, structure, and help with his manners—especially his habit of jumping on people at home and on walks. From our very first meet-and-greet, I could tell Ian knew exactly how to handle a rambunctious dog. He was calm, confident, and immediately comfortable managing Archie’s energy. He even offered helpful suggestions for training and recommended calming treats, which I really appreciated. Ian has walked Archie several times now, and he’s been consistently reliable, trustworthy, and communicative. About: I am a lover of all pets! I will treat them like my own🩵 I have experience ranging from stopping by for bathroom breaks/feeding to overnight house sitting. About: I have experience with seizures and strokes in dogs, am able to administer any kind of medication, and have some experience with animals struggling with anxiety. I am a graduate student just looking for some fulfilling part time work. About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I’d love the opportunity to help out with dog walking or pet care when you need an extra hand. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. At home, I provide a structured, loving, and safe environment for my pets, which includes two large-breed dogs—a German Shepherd and a Cane Corso—and two cats. I focus on consistent routines, daily exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. My pets are well-socialized, receive proper nutrition, and are always kept clean, comfortable, and happy. Whether it’s going on long walks, engaging in playtime, or simply giving them the attention they need, I treat each animal with the respect and care they deserve. My experience with a variety of temperaments and needs allows me to confidently and responsibly care for others’ pets with the same level of dedication.
About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. I have been animal/house sitting for over a decade and am grateful for each opportunity given to help and serve. I am a stay at home mom with two kids and two fur babies. On weekends, my husband, kiddos (fur babes included), and I spend time in the outdoors, hiking, picnics, walks etc. Our pets and those that we watch are considered family members, therefore have our constant attention, love, and affection! We have an adequate fenced in backyard space for pups to play and enjoy frequent visits to the park. With drop in, checking food and water are on the list along with potty outside, playing ball (or throwing stuffies/ frisbee 🥏) and rubs.
