“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! Thunderstorms can be the worst for some, soft spoken words, songs, and snuggles are my specialty. If a kennel is preferred I’m in full agreeance. About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

About: Grief has allowed me bond with dogs. They are so loving and caring. My dogs get me through the day. They recognize when I’m having a rough day. Wake up, get outside. I always make sure my large dogs rest before and after eating. Do not want their stomachs to flip. Walk my dogs every day no matter the weather. The exercise and fresh air is great for all of us. About: I have trained 2 dogs from puppyhood. We recently lost our beautiful lab/Shepard rescue, Dianna to heart failure. She loved her walks and we miss her dearly. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid. I love to interact with both dogs and cats. I will bring affection and adventure to every walk to ensure you dog gets the most out of their exercise time where they gather the neighborhood news! I am retired, my wife still is working full time, my son is in college, so I have plenty of flexibly in my schedule. I am very active and use to take our dog on several walks a day. About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

“This couple was great. They allowed me to see how my dog interacted with their dogs before I left so I felt very comfortable with the entire situation. They sent several pix/updates while I was away and when I picked up my dog I could tell he was well cared for. I would have this couple care for my dog again without hesitation.”

She provided copious updates -- photos and videos -- and was very quick to respond when we reached out to see how things were going. “This was our 1st time using anyone but family and I could not be happier! Kimberly and her family treated my pups so great that I wasn’t sure they would want to come home!!! We got lots of updates with pictures on how they were doing and Kimberly was very comfortable giving meds. The kids were great with them and I know they were spoiled rotten with attention! Put my mind at ease knowing they were just as loved here as they are at home! I will definitely rebook and I’m sure Copper and Robber would love to come back for another stay with this great family! “Charlette was great with my dog while I went away for two nights. I was hesitant to leave him with someone because he’s never stayed anywhere other than my house. Charlette assured me that everything would be okay and told my wife and I about other visits she’s had so I knew what to expect. I was given daily pictures and updates about how he was doing and I really comfortable with the amount of care he received. If I need to do a rover visit again I will definitely rebook with Charlette.”
