About: I have been a dog, cat and all manner of other animals mama for more than 30 years. I believe that our furbabies are family and I treat them as such. About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

Over the years we’ve had dog breeds from a German Shepherd, golden retriever, black lab, blue heeler, and Newfoundland. I love every and all dog breeds. I am a very active person so your dogs will get as much exercise as they need. As of right now, my schedule is fairly open. About: While moving around and apartment living has not allowed me to have pets currently, I have years of experience with animals in general, specifically dogs. I live in WNY now but grew up in rural PA on a mini farm with lots of animals doggies included. We mainly owned Belgian Sheepdogs and I trained/showed in the 4H program through my teens. About: I've had a dog since I was little, so I grew up with dogs. I have trained my roommate's dog some tricks: gives paw, high five, spin, speak, whisper, and other tricks. I can try to train even the most stubborn of dogs, I am patient and stubborn too and will keep trying. It may take awhile. I love long walks, I usually do recall and discipline (stop, sit and wait until no more pulling) while we are on walks. I am pretty available right now when it comes to daytime. Bigger dogs will be more of a challenge for me, but as long as they don't bite I'll be okay. I am excited for this opportunity to show dogs love and take care of them.
