About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. I trained 2 Shitzus and 1 Chihuahua from puppies, and cared for them until they passed. I have skills in bathing, walking, grooming, feeding, and administering certain medications. I am very compassionate and will care for your pets like my own. I work full time, but I work a 10 minute walk away from my apartment, so if I am watching your pet at my home, or if you live near me, I can make afternoon visits for walks, feedings, or company. I leave my apartment around 10a and arrive back home around 6p on a normal day, but I can make afternoon visits as well and I can even work remotely some days. My schedule is very flexible, so I can make most things work as long as I know in advance. I have no pets in my apartment currently, but my apartment is pet-friendly. I do not own any crates or other items, so I would need to have those provided for me if boarding your pet. My apartment has doors to close in every room to keep your pet from wandering if need be, but I also keep my space very tidy and neat, so nothing unsafe is within reach anyways. I do not have a yard, but I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a lot of grassy spots for your pet to enjoy and utilize. I also have a fenced park nearby if they like to run around and play.

About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.
