About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.

About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

About: I've had multiple dogs ever since I was four years old!! I currently have three precious puppies and miss them so much while I'm away at school. I love taking them on walks and just hanging with them!! I also have experience with dog and bunny sitting:) I'm currently a student, but besides my one/two classes a day I'm an open book!! About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.

“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

Some of my experience includes in-home sitting for various dogs for multiple years, fostering with Boot n' Kit Canine Rescue with over 16 8-week-old puppies, fostering with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue for dogs newborn-senior, and volunteering in general with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. I also come from a long line of vets and vet techs, which makes me confident. I adopted my own dog in May of 2022 (whom is a great foster sibling!) so all inquiries must be comfortable with a well trained 30lb resident dog. About: I have cared for and owned many dogs since I was a child. Have cared for and boarded family members dog on many occasions in the last 6 years. I am very kind and patient with all animals. I work full time Monday to Friday. I can watch or board your pet fully on the weekends or after 4PM during the week. If its a pet that already uses crating during the work day I can also accommodate. I have a large fully fenced large yard, large home and will gladly walk your dog in the neighborhood. We have two kind children who love dogs and can help keep your dog company.

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog for 15 years up until the end. So I’ve worked with puppy stages and loving runs until enjoying a slow stroll. I am a very active person usually getting 15-20k steps a day. With summer approaching I’d like to enjoy more time walking outside. Since I’m unable to get a dog in college I’d love to help others get there dogs more chances to get outside I believe a dog should follow its routine and it’s already known behavior. If the dog is usually crated while family is away or in a specific room which ever works best for the dog and family.

About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.
