About: I've always had a passion for animals since I was very little. I was never able to have them of my own growing up because my dad was highly allergic. Once I graduated high school I moved out and rescued my first dog from a backyard breeder. He was a Pit-bull mix. 4 months later I rescued my golden saint from a hoarding situation which ended up in all of her animals getting taken away. I realized I wanted to help save more animals so I ended up becoming a foster mom. My first foster was a 7 year old Rottweiler named Sabrina. I only had her a short 3 months before I was told she had a stomach tumor that was not curable. I unfortunately made the decision to get her cremated and the last words I said to her was " I promise I will save as many animals like you as I possibly can." I kept that promise to her after 8 years already and plan to for many many more! Fast forward to today, i suddenly lost my soul dog in January 2026 but still have my golden saint and a Catahoula Leopard dog. He was my first foster fail 6 years ago. I wanted to extend my experience even more so now I pet sit/dog walk as well! I am experienced with senior dogs, puppies, aggressive dogs as well as dogs with high anxiety I have taken care of all sorts of animals such as hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, snakes, miniature pigs, and of course cats and dogs! I treat every animal like my own and I guarantee I will become their best friend! My goal is to eventually own a building and name it in Sabrina's memory:) I am currently working part time at UPS from 4am-8am (for the health benefits) so I will have plenty of time during the day and night to play with your fur baby! I am available for in home stays in your own home, overnights, drop ins, and dog walks on week days and weekends. If you see a date that is marked unavailable please still reach out to me as I might have some spots open or a last minute cancellation for those days. It is first come first serve so book while the dates are still available! In home/overnights- This includes play time, bathroom breaks, food and water replenishment, medication administration, baths if needed, walks, picture/video updates, and lots of snuggles! Drop ins- This includes food and water replenishment, bathroom breaks and a little bit of play time! Dog walking- I offer 1/2 hour walks and 1 hour walks

About: Here for all the walks, attention and care you need! Hi I am Celina W. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and been a hands-on, reliable pet sitter for friends and family since I was a teenager. As a dog mom to a German shepherd (Loki) and Malinois mix (Meelo), my experience with working breeds makes me a perfect fit to handle even the most energetic of dogs. If there are any behaviors or manners you are working on with your pet, please let me know and I will work with your pet on skills! My shitzu-yorkie Stella had puppies in my closet when I was a teenager, so I have hands-on experience handling dogs from birth- golden years. I have even rescued cats from a burned house and was able to foster and rehome them. I’m the kind of sitter who gets down on the floor to play, encourages enrichment activities and treats your pets like the unique little personalities they are. Whether it’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or sticking to a careful routine, I show up with matched energy, patience, and genuine care. If your pets love affection, silliness, structure, or all of the above, they’re in good hands with me. If you have other critters or small pets in your home, I am sure I can assist you. Let's start a great long-term relationship! I am recently resigned teacher who is looking for fulfillment in life and currently in-between jobs. I am trying to build up my pet base so I can pursue this full time. I have plenty of time to play and care for your pups and/or cats/ small animals and will be fully engaged. I have open availability; I am also looking for long-term clients! Pet care will have to occur at the clients home and/or surrounding area. I can provide all necessary care and stimulation at your home. I am here for you and what you need. Preferrably the client would provide the leash and waste products. Depending on your comfortablility I can take your pup on scenic walks / jogs in the neighborhood or nearby parks. My client and aunt has a big dog that is a gentle giant if your dogs ever need some social interaction.

About: I have been a dog, cat and all manner of other animals mama for more than 30 years. I believe that our furbabies are family and I treat them as such. I have never met an animal that I didn't love. I look forward to loving your babies the same way that I love mine and giving them as much attention and love as they can handle. I currently work my "real job" from home and can do it anywhere there's an internet connection, so, I am hoping to make a little extra money on the side doing something that I absolutely love which is taking care of animals. I have open availability and can usually accommodate most any need within 24 hours notice and if it's something as simple as a walk that you need on the fly, I can usually accommodate with 4 hours notice. I understand that care looks different for every animal, even ones in the same home and am dedicated to taking care of your fur babies in the exact way you want them to be taken care of.

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog for 15 years up until the end. So I’ve worked with puppy stages and loving runs until enjoying a slow stroll. I am a very active person usually getting 15-20k steps a day. With summer approaching I’d like to enjoy more time walking outside. Since I’m unable to get a dog in college I’d love to help others get there dogs more chances to get outside I believe a dog should follow its routine and it’s already known behavior. If the dog is usually crated while family is away or in a specific room which ever works best for the dog and family.

About: I have loved animals, especially dogs for as long as I can remember. My family has owned dogs since I was in middle school and since then I have learned so much and have had tons of experience taking care of them. Two years ago when I moved out on my own, my dream came true of adopting my own dog! Since then I have learned even more about behavior, training, and how to care for a dog the best that I can. I also fostered dogs for about a year, which allowed me to experience dogs from different backgrounds and different behaviors. I know how much I love my own fur baby and how important she is to me, so I will care for your pet as if they were my own. During the week my availability is usually anytime after 5pm and weekends are typically pretty flexible. Please don’t hesitate to ask about any time or day of the week! I am familiar with some basic training and safety is always my top priority, whether we are out and about or in your home. While on walks I will be constantly monitoring the environment and keeping an eye out for anything we may need to steer clear of. Your pet will always be supervised, no matter where we are.

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life and have had 2 of my own dogs. They both had medical issues so I am very familiar with administering medications and preparing special meals. My home is currently pet-free and I would be so happy to spend time with your dog while you're away. I have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I currently work part time and always have Wednesdays and Fridays-Sundays off. I also have some Tuesdays off, and if I do work on Tuesdays it is only from 8-2. Mondays can be discussed. My house has a fully fenced in backyard and I never leave dogs outside unattended. Dogs are welcome to snuggle on my furniture and in bed with me if they like. If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring their crate or I have a large one they can use. There are no other dogs or children in my home so your dog gets my full attention!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Lancaster stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lancaster choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Lancaster with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lancaster. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 89% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
