“It was so reassuring to know my dog was in such good hands while I was away! Caitlin gave detailed daily updates and was flexible around some unexpected tummy trouble. I highly recommend working with Caitlin!”

“Jennifer took excellent care of our cat while we were out - she’s thorough, professional, and takes great pics! We’ll definitely be requesting her services again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of my sister dog for 7 months her name was chichi. I had lots of experience with taking her to walks, making sure she used the bathroom on her walks, also bathing her. I am very playful with dogs and make sure they eat and have a clean bowl of water. I work at my other job during the afternoon but I still am available to take care of your pups from 11am - 2:30 pm. I will always keep your pup in company. I love to watch over playful dogs and love to teach them new tricks. I’m a very kind and generous person and comfortable to be around with dogs.
“Ciara was so great with our geriatric cat and dog! I would highly recommend her. We were able to travel without any worries of how everything was going at home. Ciara and the app kept us super informed. Thanks so much!”

“Christine was very reliable to watch our 2 cats. Both cats became increasingly trusting of her and she sent us great pictures. She was communicative, proactive and we would trust her to take care of our cats again.”

“Felicia was super responsive and great with the kitties :) she gave detailed info about how the cats were and what they all did together and it was so sweet to read while I’m on vacation ❤️Highly recommend!!”

About: While moving around and apartment living has not allowed me to have pets currently, I have years of experience with animals in general, specifically dogs. I live in WNY now but grew up in rural PA on a mini farm with lots of animals doggies included. We mainly owned Belgian Sheepdogs and I trained/showed in the 4H program through my teens. Life changes took me away from continuing in that lifestyle and unfortunately from owning pets at all. However, I've been jonesing for some dog time and also an extra side hustle is always helpful! I've dealt with dogs with from all ages and anything I'm not familiar with I'm always open to learn and implement what works best for your situation. I would love to meet you and help out with your fur babies as needed! 😊 I am trying to get into pet sitting as a side hustle but I have a flexible schedule right now so I'm pretty open! I don't have a home that accommodates keeping pets in but can travel to you! I can only do in client home care but will care for your pet(s) to your preferences! I am not offering overnight stays at this current time but can do drop ins or stay for a duration of time.
“Isabella was so great with Sunny! She was available on short notice for a couple of drop in visits the next day. Isabella was beyond great! She sent multiple pictures, and provided updates so we knew Sunny was in good hands.”

About: Hello, I have been a pet parent most of my life, starting out with a cat at a young age, adopting many more throughout my years and most recently becoming a dog mom. I've had special needs animals that require daily medication and a watchful eye. I currently have a senior cat that has been diabetic for the last several years, giving me experience with injection medicine daily. Because of this, I'm extremely comfortable giving medicine to any friendly animal that might need it. When it comes to dogs, I do not have breed restrictions, all breeds, sizes and ages are welcome. I have been walking dogs and caring for other animals in my communities homes for several years. I come highly recommended by all of my previous and current clients, and am happy to provide references to ensure you're comfortable with choosing me. I am available for drop-ins and dog walks from 6am -8pm, 7 days a week. Please feel free to message me for any availability outside those times, I'd be super happy to work with you! Upon entering the home, I announce my arrival so the animals in the home aren't spooked. While in the home, I do talk to all the animals and interact at their comfort level.

“Alyssa was excellent in checking in on our cats while we were away for a week. Both cats warmed up to her quickly, even our shy one. She followed their care instructions perfectly and I would highly recommend her for cat drop in visits.”

“Kelsey was very kind and caring. My cat took to her immediately, and was very happy & content upon my return home. She was well fed and well brushed too. Kelsey also kept me promptly updated with every visit. I fully intend to use her services in the future.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cheektowaga
My babies are typically not too comfortable with people they do not know. Tatyjana Communicated with me that the dogs went under the bed but did not give up. She said she was trying to get them to warm up to her and they did. We will definitely have her back again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
