About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! I'm currently working as a personal trainer at Catalyst Fitness, so I am needed when clients have training sessions. However, this will never extend for more than a few hours (at most maybe 4-5) at a time. So even if I need to go to a training session(s), I can be right back to take care of the animals afterwards! I can constantly provide your pets with enrichment. Whether that be through walking, playing, or just general outside time. I love nature/the environment, so I love getting outdoors. So if that's what your pets enjoy I can absolutely provide! However, I realize animals have a wide spectrum of emotions and preferences, so I am very flexible to provide whatever is best for your pets!

About: I would be a great pet sitter because I am responsible, patient, and genuinely care about animals’ well-being. I am also young and energetic, which allows me to easily keep up with active dogs who need plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I pay close attention to routines like feeding, walking, and engagement to make sure pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. Additionally, I am reliable and communicative, providing regular updates and handling any situation calmly and professionally. I am an aerospace engineering student at the University at Buffalo, with a pretty compact class schedule, so I have a lot of time to care for your animals! During the typical day I am available all through the morning and evening, with a few classes during the day, where I would be unavailable for no more than a few hours. I am a dedicated student who is very responsible and would be a great choice for your pet care! I have always had multiple animals throughout my life, and know just how to care for them! My sister is a vet, who has taught me a lot about animal health and wellness, and is also one phone call away in the event that I need further opinions on a situation. Not only that, but my experience with animals has shown me how to properly care for them, feed them, and entertain them while you are enjoying time away!

I pride myself on being dependable and transparent, keeping you informed every step of the way. I can send updates and photos at your request to reassure you about your pet's care. I offer convenient and flexible scheduling options, including last-minute bookings or early/late walks. My focus is on your pet’s safety and clear communication with you! I am dedicating my non-working days to meet your pet care needs. These times include mornings, afternoons and some evenings. Please check out my calendar for availability! I do not offer services in my own home at this time as I personally have 3 dogs and 1 cat. I can however provide extra leashes, waste bags, and water as needed. If you have specific preferences or needs for your pet, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”
