He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. About: I’ve had medium sized dogs all my life that I’ve helped take care of, I’m especially familiar with boxers and I’m very fond of bully breeds. I’ve had a cat as of about five years ago that I help out with and I occasionally watch her for extended amounts of time. My last two dogs I had since they were puppies and had to clean up a lot while they were still being trained and I’ve done a lot to support my old dogs as they got older and had problems with mobility and tough foods. I’m a college student who has a lot of free time Thursday through Sunday, I am also capable of getting off campus either before of after my weekday classes. I can offer plenty of attention to your pet and make sure they are well attended to whether they need specific meals or need to be let outside or just want some time to play.

About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!

I am also young and energetic, which allows me to easily keep up with active dogs who need plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. Since moving away from home and having to leave the dogs I grew up with behind I love finding opportunities to spend time with animals and build trust and communication with them. My experience includes volunteering for animal rescues in DC and in Peru, sitting professionally for clients, and for friends, family, and neighbors, and working with positive reinforcement trainers for my family's dogs back home, who are reactive. I enjoy going on long walks, hikes, runs, and exploring the city, so if your dog is high energy, a puppy, or just needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, we would be a great fit! I also have experience watching older dogs or lower-energy breeds who simply need a calm place to stay. I can accommodate most schedules and reasonable requests, feel free to message if you have any questions and tell me more about your pup! One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.
