About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!
“Melissa stopped in once a day to watch our 3 cats while we were on vacation. She did a great job of communicating with us and all of the cats were happy and healthy in her care! Would definitely re-book in the future.”

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.
“Rachel was very kind and attentive to my dog & I felt very comfortable having her check-in on him from the first day they met. She was always been very prompt and reliable.”

About: Animal experience includes working at a grooming shop and walking and babysitting a handful of dogs for several years, as well as always having dogs of my own. I have experience and am comfortable with big, small, shy, nervous, aggressive, sick, traumatized and old animals, so I can handle whatever your pet might throw my way. And I love to run; I'm happy to run with your dog if they want. I'm also comfortable administering medications, transporting animals, bathing, and following training instructions. Most importantly, my clients have always trusted me to be an honest and dependable person. Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I work short shifts and am pretty flexible at the moment. Available for drop in visits and walks. Message me and we will make it work. I follow instructions left by you, to keep your pet and home safe and your pet comfortable. Happy to take outside, feed, walk, and administer meds.
About: I’m semi-retired and love to fill my time with animals and other caregiving services. I often drop-in services and overnight care. I believe in great communication and making you feel comfortable when trusting your fur-babies to me I grew up caring for birds, dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs. I have a very flexible schedule and will work as best I can around your needs for animal care. I will work with you to make sure you’re happy with the time and attention your animal(s) will receive. Including pictures and updates I understand how hard it can be to let caregivers I to your home and will do everything possible to make sure you’re comfortable with me. And your animals get all the attention they deserve.
About: I’ve taken care of plenty of different animals ! I would gladly watch your animal for a few hours or days. Whatever you need! I try my best to be super flexible. I am also great at taking pictures of your cute fur baby and sending them to all my friends (and you). When boarding your furry friend with me they must be good with other dogs. I have two dogs of my own who love to play and has lots of energy :) I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Tuesdays are my days off! I typically work 6:30am to 5pm. Otherwise I'm there for your fur baby! I’m off on the weekends :). When I’m not home Monday, Thursday and Friday my boyfriend works from home. This way your pet will be well loved all day. Typically, I prefer your “routine” for the animal left for me. I never want to disrupt any sort of routine you have going! Plus, writing everything down helps me remember! I also would like to meet you and your fur baby before pet sitting them. Just to ensure your animal is comfortable around me.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. I’ll be ready to work with bigger dogs again very soon once my leg fully heals! I will provide care for pets at clients home by making sure they are fed, medicated if needed and safely crated after I leave. Also, keep the pets safe from anything dangerous.
“Kelsey was on time for every appointment, provided updates for each visit and took great care of my animals. I highly recommend her. She even left a toy with her thank you card!”

Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m attentive to routines, leash safety, and each dog’s individual needs — whether that means a long, energetic walk or a slower, more relaxed pace. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’ve set aside dedicated time for dog walks! I’m flexible with weekday walks and happy to accommodate regular weekly schedules as well as occasional walks when needed. About: Here for all the walks, attention and care you need! Hi I am Celina W. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and been a hands-on, reliable pet sitter for friends and family since I was a teenager. As a dog mom to a German shepherd (Loki) and Malinois mix (Meelo), my experience with working breeds makes me a perfect fit to handle even the most energetic of dogs. If there are any behaviors or manners you are working on with your pet, please let me know and I will work with your pet on skills! My shitzu-yorkie Stella had puppies in my closet when I was a teenager, so I have hands-on experience handling dogs from birth- golden years. I have even rescued cats from a burned house and was able to foster and rehome them. I’m the kind of sitter who gets down on the floor to play, encourages enrichment activities and treats your pets like the unique little personalities they are. Whether it’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or sticking to a careful routine, I show up with matched energy, patience, and genuine care. If your pets love affection, silliness, structure, or all of the above, they’re in good hands with me. If you have other critters or small pets in your home, I am sure I can assist you. Let's start a great long-term relationship! I am recently resigned teacher who is looking for fulfillment in life and currently in-between jobs. I am trying to build up my pet base so I can pursue this full time. I have plenty of time to play and care for your pups and/or cats/ small animals and will be fully engaged. I have open availability; I am also looking for long-term clients! Pet care will have to occur at the clients home and/or surrounding area. I can provide all necessary care and stimulation at your home. I am here for you and what you need. Preferrably the client would provide the leash and waste products. Depending on your comfortablility I can take your pup on scenic walks / jogs in the neighborhood or nearby parks. My client and aunt has a big dog that is a gentle giant if your dogs ever need some social interaction.

Animals make life enjoyable and so much better, and they only deserve the best and happiest of times! I have my own dog and two cats yet, always enjoy helping friends or family out with watching their pets, stopping by to check on them, giving the cats some love down to walking the dogs. My life revolves around caring for animals. When im spending time with my animals, they go everywhere with me and really enjoy car rides with the windows down, water/ice cups from Tim Hortons, pup cups from Starbucks, running in the parks, or just simply playing fetch in the yard. Animals truly bring so much happiness in my life! I have open availability to care for animals. Available unless I’m watching a client already. I do not watch more than one client at a time . Instructions will be given to me from client of feeding, exercise schedule. Animals will be safe under my care and won’t be exposed to dangerous environments

About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.
About: Hi all! Thanks for taking the time to view my profile! Some of my experience includes in-home sitting for various dogs for multiple years, fostering with Boot n' Kit Canine Rescue with over 16 8-week-old puppies, fostering with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue for dogs newborn-senior, and volunteering in general with Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. I also come from a long line of vets and vet techs, which makes me confident. I adopted my own dog in May of 2022 (whom is a great foster sibling!) so all inquiries must be comfortable with a well trained 30lb resident dog. Please message me with any questions, I am super flexible and willing to accommodate! I currently work a hybrid position, allowing me to take Rover Requests on most Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays! I am hopeful my availability will increase in the future! Dogs ARE allowed in my apartment, and I have paid all fees incase of any damage. Your pup will stay leashed outside of unit. Depending on the dogs size, age, temperament, etc., we have various equipment of our own including a crate (s), play pen, toys, dishes, blankets, beds, etc. My commitment to your dog includes care, but additional love and affection as well. I do photography on the side, and your dog is guaranteed to be a model!
“Karen was great with my 2 babies! My very timid and very shy of strangers, Shadow, came out for her even after hearing her sister, Sumi, getting all the loving attention! Wholly recommend her and would hire her services again. Very kind and thoughtful and responsive.”

“Elisabeth was excellent with our senior pup Simba! He took a liking to her right away and she was able to maneuver him into his harness and take him up and down the porch steps easily. Quick, communication, reliable, and kind. Will definitely call on Elisabeth in the future!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 475 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Raymond. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Raymond. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 90% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
