About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!
About: Believe it or not I actually grew up with a cat allergy. However, from going to my friends' houses over the years and being exposed to their cats (and working at a pet store), it seems like that allergy has gone away! I have absolutely no issues being in the same household as cats, and have not had any issues arise from being around them!

About: I’ve had experience with cats and dogs for the last 15 years, I grew up with pets, and have two dogs of my own now. I work full time, Monday- Friday 830-430 and an occasional Saturday. I have a flexible workday, so I can schedule lunch breaks around my schedule. About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.
About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. About: With 15 years of pet care experience, I’m dependable and attentive. I make sure every dog or cat feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for. My schedule is very flexible and open, so I can easily fit in walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays whenever needed. I plan around each pet’s routine. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect as my own. I follow any instructions or schedules closely, and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable.
About: I care for my blind shih tzu at home, so I know to keep my eyes and ears out to ensure safety for any animal! I am a student athlete at the University of Pittsburgh, so I know how to balance and diligently prioritize things! I currently only am busy for about an hour and a half every morning, to get a run in. Besides that I am free the whole day to take care of and watch your pet! :) I make sure your pet is safe, and feels comfortable in my care. I know when to go slow if a pet is more shy, but also I love to take pets to parks, go on walks, and cuddle!

“We rebooked with Mindy for a recent trip after our experience with her last time. Our dog is a little bit neurotic & high maintenance and doesn’t like to be left alone in new places. It is so so so nice to be able to go on vacation and not worry about her because Mindy takes such good care of her. My dog randomly stopped eating and Mindy figured out that if she changed her bowl she would eat. She took her for plenty of walks and gave her plenty of snuggles - our dog even gets to sleep in Mindy’s bed at night! We are so relieved to have found Mindy and would recommend her to anyone.”

They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”
