“Sierra was phenomenal with our two cats even going above and beyond when one of them had some digestive issues while we were gone. 100% would trust again with our pets.”

“Christine was very reliable to watch our 2 cats. Both cats became increasingly trusting of her and she sent us great pictures. She was communicative, proactive and we would trust her to take care of our cats again.”

“Belle is awesome! She is very reliable and a great with communication. She is so sweet and kind to Macy. I appreciate her stopping in to check on Macy while we are both at work.”
“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.
“Dana did an excellent job. She visited with the boys, played with them, and made sure they had fresh food and water each day. We came home to two cats that content and well taken care of!”

“I love having Jenna watch my cats. It’s clear that she spends meaningful time with them and that they adore her. She’s very responsible and a great communicator. Thank you, Jenna!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for many years growing up as I had family pets and other families pets. As a patient care assistant and nursing student, I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable providing individualized care. I understand the importance of maintaining routines, ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable, and providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, companionship, or extra patience, I’ll treat them like family. I work part-time while attending school, which allows me flexibility for pet care. I make time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I communicate regularly with pet owners and can provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is receiving excellent care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and needs and strive to create a calm, positive environment. As someone with healthcare experience, I understand the importance of being observant, dependable, and prepared for unexpected situations.
“Rachel took such great care of my Loki and my apartment while I was gone. She was so wonderful with him and being able to inject him with the insulin daily. So thankful for her help!”

“Melissa was a great pet sitter for us! She was very prompt & accommodating to our schedule for drop in visits. Our pets really took to her, as I can tell from the daily pictures that she sent. Our pets were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend Melissa, and plan to book with her in the future. Communication was great, and I felt 100% comfortable with my pets in her care!”

About: Dog owner for 18+ years, trained as puppies and love to walk and play! Owner of a sweet, playful large breed dog who is great with kids and other dogs. She loves to make new friends! Let me take care of your precious pet while you're unable to. Love to go for walks and can accommodate overnight. Can also administer meds if needed. Car rides available to pets who love the wind in their face! (Portable steps used for ingress/egress). I will accommodate a single dog at a time, or multiple dogs from the same household. Can work with puppies in an open area or crate training. I would love to get to know and establish a routine with your pet, or just an occasional visit as needed. Can't wait to meet your furry friends! Daily time with my dog is a must, so I know how important it is that your pet is given the attention he or she deserves. I'm mostly available in the afternoon after work and weekends, with occasional extended availability. I have an open yard with a cable/pulley so dogs can run freely without being too constrained. Inside we use gates to limit what our furry friends can get into while providing the majority of the house to roam. Large crate is available for private time and soft blankets for a place to relax!
About: I absolutely adore animals but especially dogs, I worked at a dog kennel for two years, which has helped me to gain experience around dogs of any and all different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments/requirements. I have been dog sitting/walking and doing overnight stays for 3 years and take great pride in taking care of your pet as if they’re my own! I am working part time at a kennel right now, however my shifts are very short (5 hours max but typically 2.5-3 hours). I get my schedule on a week to week basis, so if you want to guarantee that I have the availability to watch your pup, let me know at least 2 weeks in advance and I will happily request off from work to help you out (please still feel free to reach out even if its less than 2 weeks in advance, I likely will still be able to help you out). Having such short shifts, im available for pop-ins and walks the majority of the day, however there should be no problem with staying overnight as my latest shift is from 8:15-9:15pm at the kennel for let out. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own to ensure their safety and enjoyment for the time I am with them, as well as making sure your home is safe while you are away. I will follow any and all instructions that are given to me to guarantee everything runs smoothly and that your pup has a great and safe time!
“Kelsey has been a great sitter..And I look forward to using Her services this Year..On time, and replies to text messages..I recommended Kelsey to a neighbor Great job ! Thankyou”

About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! I'm currently working as a personal trainer at Catalyst Fitness, so I am needed when clients have training sessions. However, this will never extend for more than a few hours (at most maybe 4-5) at a time. So even if I need to go to a training session(s), I can be right back to take care of the animals afterwards! I can constantly provide your pets with enrichment. Whether that be through walking, playing, or just general outside time. I love nature/the environment, so I love getting outdoors. So if that's what your pets enjoy I can absolutely provide! However, I realize animals have a wide spectrum of emotions and preferences, so I am very flexible to provide whatever is best for your pets!
About: I offer reliable, compassionate dog care backed by a lifetime of hands-on experience. Having grown up around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I understand their needs, behaviors, and the importance of patience and trust. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended care, I treat every dog like family, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind and give your dog the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I'm currently working part-time and am looking to fill the gaps in my schedule with some time well spent, loving and playing with some furry friends! I am also flexible for overnight stays if worked out with ample time in advance! I tailor my care to each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own environments. For walks, I make sure your dog gets safe, engaging exercise at their own pace, along with fresh water and plenty of attention before I leave. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park for some interactive time with others, if this is a suitable/desirable option for you. For overnight stays, I maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide, while also keeping your home tidy and secure. Having grown up around dogs, I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, so you can feel confident they’re in capable, caring hands while you’re away!
About: I’ve taken care of plenty of different animals ! I would gladly watch your animal for a few hours or days. Whatever you need! I try my best to be super flexible. I am also great at taking pictures of your cute fur baby and sending them to all my friends (and you). When boarding your furry friend with me they must be good with other dogs. I have two dogs of my own who love to play and has lots of energy :) I work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Tuesdays are my days off! I typically work 6:30am to 5pm. Otherwise I'm there for your fur baby! I’m off on the weekends :). When I’m not home Monday, Thursday and Friday my boyfriend works from home. This way your pet will be well loved all day. Typically, I prefer your “routine” for the animal left for me. I never want to disrupt any sort of routine you have going! Plus, writing everything down helps me remember! I also would like to meet you and your fur baby before pet sitting them. Just to ensure your animal is comfortable around me.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. I’ll be ready to work with bigger dogs again very soon once my leg fully heals! I will provide care for pets at clients home by making sure they are fed, medicated if needed and safely crated after I leave. Also, keep the pets safe from anything dangerous.
“Jessica did an awesome job and was a great help! She took Rayla out, even collected a urine sample for us where I previously failed! She cleaned up a mess Rayla made earlier that I just didn’t have a chance to get to yet! Jessica even helped with the documentation chart I have currently to track Rayla’s outside time and bathroom breaks! Will definitely use again! Thank you!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 11 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pendleton Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
