“I've never hired anyone to look after the cats before. I've always relied on my elderly mother to take care of them while I'm away. The thought of having a stranger in my home while I'm gone made me feel uncomfortable but I wanted piece of mind in knowing that if mom faced any health concerns that the cats would still get care until I return home. Melissa was at the top of the list, on Rover, for people in my area so I read the reviews left by her past clients and decided that she was worth a gamble. Before I went out of town, she came out to meet us and I showed her around the house. She was present at all the times we agreed on and sent a daily note and pictures of them when she could. (They used to be feral and love to hide from strangers.) I hope Melissa is available the next time I go out of town. About: I have had dogs in my family for my entire life. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, ranging from 10 weeks to 19 years. I currently have a boxer and terrier mix. I have a lot of experience with big dogs, but I do have some experience with small dogs due to my grandparents and friends. I’ve been in Buffalo for about a year now and I am in college. I don’t have a full or part time job so I can focus on my studies, therefore I am flexible for most of the day and week. I will not offer care for pets in my home due to my own dogs. I am living with another person so I am free to leave the house to care for your pets in your home.

“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

About: Experience with dogs x6 years. Mainly Dobermans personally, however I helped friends and family with breeds and sizes of all kinds! I look forward to helping you. I work part time as a nurse at a Wellnow. Mom of active kids. We are going into our slow season activity wise, which is why I have decided to take on this opportunity to help others. I have a large fenced in back yard, a 3 year old female doberman, 2 black cats and 2 ferrets. If I could afford more, I'd have a farm by now!

About: I have a big house with room to run and play. I'm happy taking care of the puppies and dogs that aren't quite fully potty trained. My family dog in Florida is not spayed so I have experience with females in heat. I don't mind cleaning up messes because the house is all mine. I have 2 small dogs living with me that are very spoiled. My little Einstein has allergies so I buy him special food, shampoo, conditioner, etc to help with his itchy skin. He is a quiet little one who loves meeting new pups. My little Lola loves to cuddle and chew on her bone. You can be certain that your dog will be spoiled too. I also have 2 cats, Harley and Quinn, who have their own room where they love to play. As for me, I'm a Preschool Teacher. My work is right down the road so I come home and let my dogs out during lunch. My dogs go out every couple hours when I'm home. Spending time with my dogs and cats is probably one of my greatest joys.

About: Over the years, I’ve dogsat for many different breads for many different families. I spend most of my time at my apartment studying for school! I’m a student so I spend most of my day inside my apartment studying. I enjoy taking walks outside when I need a break. I’m home for majority of the hours during the week. There is a local park nearby my apartment that I love to take walks at. My apartment complex is dog friendly and there are currently no other animals in my apartment. They are welcome to go on furniture and I would love to play with any bread of dog!
