Machete had a great time meeting new friends, and we really appreciate Zaira's flexibility with drop off / pick up time for boarding. About: Believe it or not I actually grew up with a cat allergy. However, from going to my friends' houses over the years and being exposed to their cats (and working at a pet store), it seems like that allergy has gone away! I have absolutely no issues being in the same household as cats, and have not had any issues arise from being around them!

I will spend a minimum of 8 hours overnight but typically I will be with your pets for 10-12 hours. Most days I will need to leave for 6-9 hours during the day. Dogs will never be left for longer than 8 consecutive hours. I guarantee that I will be at your house at the agreed upon times to feed your pets breakfast & dinner. If your pet(s) cannot be left alone for up to 8 consecutive hours there will be additional fees. DROP-IN VISITS 30 minute visit - $30 1 hour visit - $45 DOG WALKS 30 minute walk - $30 + $5 each additional dog 1 hour walk - $45 + $5 each additional dog - Walks may be shortened and finished as drop in visits in severe weather conditions determined by myself. CONSTANT CARE 3 or more consecutive hours: $20 per hour Rover does not have an option to request visits longer than 1 hour. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

For walks, I make sure your dog gets safe, engaging exercise at their own pace, along with fresh water and plenty of attention before I leave. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park for some interactive time with others, if this is a suitable/desirable option for you. For overnight stays, I maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide, while also keeping your home tidy and secure. Having grown up around dogs, I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, so you can feel confident they’re in capable, caring hands while you’re away!
About: Chilling with pets is my favorite self-care! I have been taking care of cats and dogs for over 20 years. My speciality is rescue animals and all of my cats over the years have been from shelters. I've taken care of all types of cats and dogs from pugs to German Shepards, from kittens to senior cats. I am very gentle, compassionate, and give great pet back scratches! I currently work as a social worker and my schedule is very flexible. This means I am available outside a traditional Monday - Friday 9am-5pm schedule. I follow your instructions like a recipe and am proactive about asking questions related to the care of your pet. In addition, my former roommate is a practicing veterinarian and is on-call for me 24/7. :)
About: My childhood was filled with cats and dogs. I live in a small apartment so I cant have any dogs of my own. I am a runner and would be happy to run your dog if thats what they like. I don’t t care what breed your dog is, I'll love them. I also have a lot of experience with cats and currently own two. I currently work full time and work 3 shifts a week, 12 hours each. Which means, I have 4 days a week I am available! I am able to walk/run your dog/dogs. I will also make sure that they remain safe and happy in their home. I can play and hang out with your cats and dogs when you aren’t able to.
