About: I have taken care of animals for family and friends for a few years now and want to expanded into caring into looking after the pets if other family’s that want to travel but unfortunately cannot bring their animals with them. I currently work in a restaurant as a line cook and have 5-8 hour days starting as early as 2pm and ending as late as 10pm so I am able to mostly do morning care and late night care but I can adjust my schedule as needed for emergency’s. I am able to adapt to any type of care needed including daily training or cleanup if needed and love to take my own dogs on walks and just relax with them when they are tired.

She was concerned when one of my kitties wouldn’t come out, but she is a very scared cat around new people, so I wasn’t worried about it, but within a couple days she came out while Belle was there, so I knew they loved her and trusted her. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

Walks and visits are typically, scheduled within a 2-hour window. —————————————————— HOUSE SITTING: (Non-Constant Daytime Care + Overnights) Rate: starting at $100/night House sitting includes overnight care and non-constant daytime care. I will spend a minimum of 8 hours overnight but typically, closer to 10-12 hours. During the day I am usually gone 3-8 hours. Then, I am back late afternoon/evening and stay overnight until the following morning. Occasionally, I may need to leave for 1-2 hours in the evening. —————————————————— DROP-IN VISITS 30 minute visit - $30 1 hour visit - $45 —————————————————— DOG WALKS 30 minute walk - $30 + $5 each additional dog 1 hour walk - $45 + $10 each additional dog - Walks may be shortened and finished as drop in visits in severe weather conditions determined by myself. —————————————————— CONSTANT CARE Minimum of 3 consecutive hours: $25 per hour Rover does not have an option to request visits longer than 1 hour. To request hourly care please send a “drop in visit” request and message me to discuss details. Prior to booking new clients I require a meet & greet with you and your pets in your home. This will allow us to determine if we will be a good match for each other.
