About: I've taken care of a variety of different animals in my life. From cats to ducks to pufferfish to guinea pigs. I have always had a deep love and care for all animals. I have volunteered at animal shelters and have had brief veterinarian assistant training. I am easy going but also very much so a rule follower and very attentive to detail. I work very part time and have flexible availability during the day time and can do playtime, house sitting, and administering meds. I am not available to have pets stay in my home. But I am available for house sitting for a short time and mail collection. I would follow all instructions given me by the pet parent. I am very cautious of their pets needs and habits that need monitoring. Id make sure to spend time playing and giving them love and making sure they were comfy and happy.

About: I have taken care of animals for family and friends for a few years now and want to expanded into caring into looking after the pets if other family’s that want to travel but unfortunately cannot bring their animals with them. I currently work in a restaurant as a line cook and have 5-8 hour days starting as early as 2pm and ending as late as 10pm so I am able to mostly do morning care and late night care but I can adjust my schedule as needed for emergency’s. I am able to adapt to any type of care needed including daily training or cleanup if needed and love to take my own dogs on walks and just relax with them when they are tired.

I prefer to house sit and stay in your home, essentially moving in and working remotely while keeping your dog company and maintaining their normal routine. This approach is especially helpful for dogs with separation anxiety or those who need more frequent potty breaks. While I generally keep a typical 9–5 schedule, my workday is flexible, and I can take breaks as needed. I do have occasional meetings during the day and, depending on proximity, may step out briefly to check on my own dogs—but your pet’s care, comfort, and safety are always my top priority. I believe the best care comes from keeping your dog’s routine as close to yours as possible, all in the comfort of their own home. I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet before a sit so I can get to know you and your dog, learn their daily routine, and familiarize myself with the home and surrounding area. I always recommend sharing a simple “guide” or list of your dog’s schedule—feeding, potty breaks, medication, walks, playtime, and any special preferences. I’ve cared for dogs with all types of personalities, and understanding their quirks and behavioral patterns helps ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. For example, I like to know how they do on walks, whether they’re an escape artist or more of a Velcro pup, and how they react around other dogs. When it comes to walks, I’m comfortable walking two small dogs at the same time, and since it’s just me, I prefer one larger dog at a time. In addition to pet care, I’m also happy to help with light house-sitting tasks while you’re away, such as watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, and keeping an eye on the home. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, knowing both your dog and your home are being well cared for.

About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. Since moving away from home and having to leave the dogs I grew up with behind I love finding opportunities to spend time with animals and build trust and communication with them. My experience includes volunteering for animal rescues in DC and in Peru, sitting professionally for clients, and for friends, family, and neighbors, and working with positive reinforcement trainers for my family's dogs back home, who are reactive. I enjoy going on long walks, hikes, runs, and exploring the city, so if your dog is high energy, a puppy, or just needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, we would be a great fit! I also have experience watching older dogs or lower-energy breeds who simply need a calm place to stay. I can accommodate most schedules and reasonable requests, feel free to message if you have any questions and tell me more about your pup! One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.
