About: I’ve been around dogs my whole entire life and can’t imagine life without them! I currently have two dogs and one cat of my own, so I’m very experienced with different personalities and routines. I’m patient, gentle, and loving with every animal I meet, and I truly enjoy building a bond with each pet. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing together, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home. My home has direct access to a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time throughout the day. I also know how important peace of mind is, so I’ll be sure to send lots of photos and updates while your pet is with me! ☺️ My availability is very flexible! I’m home Friday–Sunday, and my boyfriend is home Sunday–Tuesday, so there is always someone home with your pup on those days! Pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm environment so they can relax while their owners are away.
“Roslyn came to my rescue when my dog was reacting to the stress of evacuating from a hurricane in Florida. She came to the long stay hotel and stayed with my babies while I went out to run errands. Shes truly a gifted pet sitter and had a calming effect with my upset babies. I really appreciated her help!”

“Julianna did a great job with our cats. She came twice a day right on time and communicated with us very effectively. We appreciated her follow up and her assurances our cats were fine. It was wonderful to see pictures from every visit. I would highly recommend Julianna to anyone looking for a professional and dependable sitter for their pets!”

“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

“Christine was very reliable to watch our 2 cats. Both cats became increasingly trusting of her and she sent us great pictures. She was communicative, proactive and we would trust her to take care of our cats again.”

“Kaitlyn was a pleasure to meet. She arrived on time for our first meet and greet and was on time for the drop in. She is very polite and it took no time for our girls to like her. I will definitely keep her top of the list for drop ins or emergencies. Thanks again Kaitlyn!! Awesome job!”
“Christopher did a wonderful job taking care of our kitties while we were gone. We entrusted him to look after everything and we could not be more satisfied. We will definitely be reaching out to him again next time we go away.”

“Kelsey has been a great sitter..And I look forward to using Her services this Year..On time, and replies to text messages..I recommended Kelsey to a neighbor Great job ! Thankyou”
“My husband and I travel frequently and now have used Michelle twice to check on our cat. She is communicative, caring and trustworthy. I will continue to use her services if available!”

About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! I'm currently working as a personal trainer at Catalyst Fitness, so I am needed when clients have training sessions. However, this will never extend for more than a few hours (at most maybe 4-5) at a time. So even if I need to go to a training session(s), I can be right back to take care of the animals afterwards! I can constantly provide your pets with enrichment. Whether that be through walking, playing, or just general outside time. I love nature/the environment, so I love getting outdoors. So if that's what your pets enjoy I can absolutely provide! However, I realize animals have a wide spectrum of emotions and preferences, so I am very flexible to provide whatever is best for your pets!
About: I've been a reliable and trustworthy caregiver to friends and family, allowing me to take care of dogs ever since I was in middle school. I'm a college student looking for a more productive summer. I'll always make time for your friend, family, child any day and at any time. Providing safe, stress-free pet care means I adapt my routines to the specific environment where the care takes place. When I’m caring for a pet in a client’s home, I make sure my approach always prioritizes the animal’s physical security, emotional well-being, and medical safety.
“I love having Jenna watch my cats. It’s clear that she spends meaningful time with them and that they adore her. She’s very responsible and a great communicator. Thank you, Jenna!”

Jacquelyn did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats. She did exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond. She spent so much time playing with and interacting with them. I know that by leaving my pets with her, I’m leaving them in good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet-sitter!

This was our very first experience with Ashley and she was completely amazing! Our little cat is very shy and extremely timid especially when it comes to meeting new people. So much so he wouldn't come out of hiding at our meet and greet. Ashley was really patient with him and finally got him to come around on her visits. Now the two of them are best friends! She was excellent with her visit communication and sent us lots of pictures while we were away. I would highly recommend her for any sitting needs and she will certainly be our go-to Rover sitter from now on when we go away!

Juliana accommodated our cat’s needs, staying for extended visits to make sure our cat could get attention if she wanted while we were out. We were also able to contact her slightly before the original scheduled time to check on something in our house we didn’t want the cat to get into.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Tonawanda. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
