About: Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching. Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking

About: Believe it or not I actually grew up with a cat allergy. However, from going to my friends' houses over the years and being exposed to their cats (and working at a pet store), it seems like that allergy has gone away! I have absolutely no issues being in the same household as cats, and have not had any issues arise from being around them!

Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

I have realized my goal in life is to use my empathy to good use. I have several important goals I follow while watching your doggies: 1. What does your dog need? Does it need space,Play time, some love or a squirrel? Dog personalities are similar to humans and being in a different environment can change moods; we all need and want different things. I stay mindful of what those are and accommodate to the best of ability. 2. Treat all the dogs in my home as I would want my dogs to be treated. If I am having a busy workday, I still let the babies lay on my lap. Or when I get up for a moment, I give each doggo a pet and say hello I want them to feel loved and safe like they do in their own home. 3 No favoritism. Of course I have my favorites but I don’t tell the dogs that 🤷♀️ I work from home most of the week and my job is fairly flexible. Sometimes I will have to step out for an hour or two but there is always someone home. We offer plenty of treats, non toxic chews, bones (to dogs without allergies and who have been okayed). We have play mats, play puzzles, billions of toys, dog pools for the hot summer days and multiple gates, some installed (In case of aggressive eaters or food stealers), we are stocked with washable puppy pee pads ( in case your dog has issues using the potty, diapers will be requested if it is a medical issue), we have a lot of dog beds and dogs are allowed on the sofa and sleep in our bed (if they choose to). Oh yeah, your doggie will be placed into one of the four Harry Potter houses by the sorting hat lol. Tons of pictures will be provided!!
About: I love dogs (and cats)! I grew up with cats but dogs are my passion. I have a chocolate lab named Bear. I volunteered at both the Erie SPCA and at Niagara SPCA walking all breeds of dogs. We try to teach manners at the SPCA and so am familiar with the basic training techniques. I enjoy walks around the neighborhood letting them enjoy the sights and smells. Even if they are difficult to walk, I am still comfortable with that. I love giving belly rubs but snuggling with them is the best! Will administer medication as needed. I am available to take them for vet visits or grooming as well. I am also able to house sit with light cleaning however focus is always on the dog/dogs. I am retired and so have a flexible schedule. I will take care of your pets in a timely manner and will spend evenings with them. However, I do leave to eat at home and other personal chores. I work with you to keep your fur baby safe. Whatever works for you is what I will do. I want your pet to feel secure.
About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.
About: I have taken care of animals for family and friends for a few years now and want to expanded into caring into looking after the pets if other family’s that want to travel but unfortunately cannot bring their animals with them. I currently work in a restaurant as a line cook and have 5-8 hour days starting as early as 2pm and ending as late as 10pm so I am able to mostly do morning care and late night care but I can adjust my schedule as needed for emergency’s. I am able to adapt to any type of care needed including daily training or cleanup if needed and love to take my own dogs on walks and just relax with them when they are tired.

“Courtney’s provided the best stay for Amaya, our standard poodle. She was flexible about drop off time and pick up time as we were traveling from out of state to the Falls and coordinating with two other families. She treated Amaya like one of her own. We appreciated the photos and videos and attention she gave our girl. I don’t think Amaya missed us!”

Sent a couple pictures a day with updates and speedy responses. We were very pleased with the care and that she has dogs which our dog loves to play with other dogs so was a major plus in our books. About: Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching. Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking

He was also very patient and accommodating with our crazy family circumstances requiring last minute schedule changes. We were very nervous about leaving our 6 month old puppy and definitely didn't want to leave him in a kennel. From the initial meet and greet we could tell this was the perfect place for Axel to stay; he was welcomed into Francis' home and treated like a member of the family.
