“Darien was absolutely fantastic with our girl (Elsa)! From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”

About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! Does it need space,Play time, some love or a squirrel? Dog personalities are similar to humans and being in a different environment can change moods; we all need and want different things. I stay mindful of what those are and accommodate to the best of ability. 2. Treat all the dogs in my home as I would want my dogs to be treated. If I am having a busy workday, I still let the babies lay on my lap. Or when I get up for a moment, I give each doggo a pet and say hello I want them to feel loved and safe like they do in their own home. 3 No favoritism. Of course I have my favorites but I don’t tell the dogs that 🤷♀️ I work from home most of the week and my job is fairly flexible. Sometimes I will have to step out for an hour or two but there is always someone home. We offer plenty of treats, non toxic chews, bones (to dogs without allergies and who have been okayed). We have play mats, play puzzles, billions of toys, dog pools for the hot summer days and multiple gates, some installed (In case of aggressive eaters or food stealers), we are stocked with washable puppy pee pads ( in case your dog has issues using the potty, diapers will be requested if it is a medical issue), we have a lot of dog beds and dogs are allowed on the sofa and sleep in our bed (if they choose to). Oh yeah, your doggie will be placed into one of the four Harry Potter houses by the sorting hat lol. Tons of pictures will be provided!!
About: I love dogs (and cats)! I grew up with cats but dogs are my passion. I have a chocolate lab named Bear. I volunteered at both the Erie SPCA and at Niagara SPCA walking all breeds of dogs. We try to teach manners at the SPCA and so am familiar with the basic training techniques. I enjoy walks around the neighborhood letting them enjoy the sights and smells. Even if they are difficult to walk, I am still comfortable with that. I love giving belly rubs but snuggling with them is the best! Will administer medication as needed. I am available to take them for vet visits or grooming as well. I am also able to house sit with light cleaning however focus is always on the dog/dogs. I am retired and so have a flexible schedule. I will take care of your pets in a timely manner and will spend evenings with them. However, I do leave to eat at home and other personal chores. I work with you to keep your fur baby safe. About: My biggest concern while I’m away on vacation is “how are my dogs doing?” They are like my children. I have used Rover in the past to watch my dogs and home while I’m on vacation. I want to be that trustworthy person for someone else. I have ALWAYS been an animal lover! I have rescued dogs, I’ve fostered dogs and watched dogs for friends and family. I have two Golden Retrievers at home who love to have company come over and play in the fenced in backyard. I am looking forward to taking care of your Furbaby like they are my own I work Full-time but am able to leave for lunch to take care of any pets needs during the day. Right now I go home everyday on lunch and spend time with my dogs. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 Golden Retrievers who love to have company! At this time, if I watch your dog in my home, he/she would need to be crated while I’m at work. They would be crated no longer than 4 hours unless I make other arrangements with my job, where I could come home more frequently.

I am open to incorporating pet care at other times depending on my present work load. I keep track of to-dos by making a list and crossing them off as I go. I also make the owner a note of what happened (how often they went out, what time they ate, etc) so we are on the same page. I understand the importance of routine so stick to the expectations!
About: I’ve taken care of friends’ & my family’s cats/dogs for 15 years, including my own 6 year old cat. It’s my pleasure to help feed, walk, or take care of anyone’s fur baby. I’ll treat them like my own! Weekdays are ideal! I work remotely full-time, so my weekday availability is very flexible. I finish at 4pm but easy/happy to make time throughout the day for walks & drop-in visits . Also available most weekends, no set schedule! I’m currently only offering drop-in visits & walks. I live in LoDo (Lower Downtown Denver) but happy to walk or drive to wherever I’m needed!

From the very first meet-and-greet, though, any worries disappeared. Nala and Bella took to Joanne right away, which told us everything we needed to know. Throughout our trip, Joanne went above and beyond. She consistently sent photos and updates, which made such a difference in helping us relax and actually enjoy our vacation. It was clear in every message and picture that our girls were not just being cared for, but genuinely loved. When we came back, Nala and Bella were happy, comfortable, and clearly had a wonderful time. It’s such a relief to know we have someone we can trust completely with them. “If I could give 10 stars I would! Dana and her family Rock! They were amazing with my 14 yo 5# Pomeranian, Roxie, was is a tri-pod. Roxie settled in nicely with Dana's super chill pups, and Dana. Dana sent us pictures of Roxie during her stay, while we enjoyed all Niagra Falls has to offer. We definitely recommend her and her family! We would (will!) Rebook with her next time!”

About: I’ve worked in emergency vet med for 5 years and I’m comfortable with everything from reptiles, to Great Danes. I personally do several dog sports with my border collies and I’m always up for learning the special needs and quirks of your fur babies I currently work full time but my holiday, evenings and weekends are free to love your fur babies. My work schedule is done far in advanced so my off days can be made available! I’m available for walks and drop in services from your home. Caring for your pet while your away in their own home allows me to keep their schedule the same and cause less anxiety

She even spent extra time to make sure my dog was comfortable with hers before I booked an overnight and she kept me informed on how he was doing with texts, photos and video. “Darien was absolutely fantastic with our girl (Elsa)! From the onset of booking she made me feel completely at ease by setting up a video chat so that we could meet and I would be comfortable with where Elsa would be staying. Darien would send frequent updates of Elsa’s activities at her place and I could tell Elsa was so well taken care of by Darien and her family (she looked like she was right at home!!). I was also very happy to hear that Elsa got along well with Darien’s dog because Elsa is normally not a very social dog. All in all, Elsa had a comfortable and happy stay and I would definitely bring Elsa back for future boardings 😊!”
