“My family and I went on a mini vacation for 3 nights. When I left my two dogs with Monica I felt very comfortable and felt there was no need to worry about anything, well boy was I right! She is fabulous! About 20 min into their stay with her, she messaged me pictures of them Playing and lounging around . She continued to send me pics daily of them showing me how they were, which was very relieving! The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable! While cat sitting, Madeline informed me that my cat wasn't drinking much water -- something that is normal for my cat but I valued Madeline's careful observation all the same. About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. Since moving away from home and having to leave the dogs I grew up with behind I love finding opportunities to spend time with animals and build trust and communication with them. My experience includes volunteering for animal rescues in DC and in Peru, sitting professionally for clients, and for friends, family, and neighbors, and working with positive reinforcement trainers for my family's dogs back home, who are reactive. I enjoy going on long walks, hikes, runs, and exploring the city, so if your dog is high energy, a puppy, or just needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, we would be a great fit! I also have experience watching older dogs or lower-energy breeds who simply need a calm place to stay. I can accommodate most schedules and reasonable requests, feel free to message if you have any questions and tell me more about your pup! One bonus - my apartment has an elevator and primate balcony with a potty area, so frequent potty breaks can be accommodated. Open to pickup and drop off, and last minute requests. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: I’ve helped take care of dogs since I was 10. I helped train our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy at a young age, and played a great role in taking care of her for the next six years. I’ve dog sat and dog walked friends and families dogs plenty of times over the past few years. Some of these dogs were beagles, labradors, retrievers, and collies. I’m currently an undergraduate student, I only have two or three classes a day and then I’m available for the rest of the day! Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was so welcoming and understanding of my not completely house trained pup, and she's almost like a trainer as well as sitter. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. Five other sitters denied my request to watch a puppy, but Courtney is the ultimate dog lover, and honestly has more patience than anyone I've ever met. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! About: I have had a boxer, French mastiff, Golden Retriever and French bulldog so I’m use to all types of dogs and I love every single dog I see. I’ve taken care of lots of my friends and families dogs for the past 5 years well they’re away. I always make sure to have great communication with the dog parents. I have taken various animal classes such as animal enrichment, welfare, cognition, dog/cat behavior, and positive reinforcement training classes. I worked at a dog & cat boarding facility/doggy daycare. I interned at the SPCA Serving Erie County with their behavior department working with the dogs & cats. I have worked with many fearful, reactive, and under socialized dogs. I am experienced in administering medications. I mostly pet sit dogs & cats but I have also cared for fish, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, chickens, and would be open to other species! I am currently a cat mom of 5. WEEKLY VISITS & WALKS: I am currently accepting new clients in need of weekly drop-in visits or dog walks. I have availability Monday-Friday. Walks and visits are typically, scheduled within a 2-hour window. —————————————————— HOUSE SITTING: (Non-Constant Daytime Care + Overnights) Rate: starting at $100/night House sitting includes overnight care and non-constant daytime care. I will spend a minimum of 8 hours overnight but typically, closer to 10-12 hours. During the day I am usually gone 3-8 hours. Then, I am back late afternoon/evening and stay overnight until the following morning. Occasionally, I may need to leave for 1-2 hours in the evening. —————————————————— DROP-IN VISITS 30 minute visit - $30 1 hour visit - $45 —————————————————— DOG WALKS 30 minute walk - $30 + $5 each additional dog 1 hour walk - $45 + $10 each additional dog - Walks may be shortened and finished as drop in visits in severe weather conditions determined by myself. —————————————————— CONSTANT CARE Minimum of 3 consecutive hours: $25 per hour Rover does not have an option to request visits longer than 1 hour. To request hourly care please send a “drop in visit” request and message me to discuss details. Prior to booking new clients I require a meet & greet with you and your pets in your home. This will allow us to determine if we will be a good match for each other.
About: My fiancé and I are animal lovers through and through! We have 4 babies of our own. One of which is a service animal! Tahmi is a disabled veteran with years of animal experience from animal control. Marisa has years of experience volunteering and training. We are warm, kind hearted and compassionate people who would love your dogs as our own. We love to be outside every chance we get; meaning we can offer your pup(s) the exercise and play he/she needs! We’re homebody’s too and don’t mind staying in and giving your pup all the cuddles! We offer a variety of services at an affordable price! Our dogs are a high priority and we treat them as such! Which would leave us no problem to do the same for any client of ours and their pups! It’s their (dogs) world, we just live in it! :) We make sure to stay on track with feeding schedules and potty breaks. Exercise is a must-do while your pet is in our care! Safety and comfort are our number one priority and we do everything we can to make sure your pup experiences both during they stay!

“My family and I went on a mini vacation for 3 nights. When I left my two dogs with Monica I felt very comfortable and felt there was no need to worry about anything, well boy was I right! She is fabulous! About 20 min into their stay with her, she messaged me pictures of them Playing and lounging around . She continued to send me pics daily of them showing me how they were, which was very relieving! The very last day one of my dogs was experiencing loose poops (we think it was just from the heat) which she also had messaged me about prior to pick up . My dog has an accident in her house which I felt terrible about but she was so easy going and sweet about it which was really nice , since I felt so bad! I would take my dogs back to her in a heartbeat! They loved their stay with her and we enjoyed our vacation without worrying about our doggies! She is also very reasonable!
