Walks and visits are typically, scheduled within a 2-hour window. —————————————————— HOUSE SITTING: (Non-Constant Daytime Care + Overnights) Rate: starting at $100/night House sitting includes overnight care and non-constant daytime care. I will spend a minimum of 8 hours overnight but typically, closer to 10-12 hours. During the day I am usually gone 3-8 hours. Then, I am back late afternoon/evening and stay overnight until the following morning. Occasionally, I may need to leave for 1-2 hours in the evening. —————————————————— DROP-IN VISITS 30 minute visit - $30 1 hour visit - $45 —————————————————— DOG WALKS 30 minute walk - $30 + $5 each additional dog 1 hour walk - $45 + $10 each additional dog - Walks may be shortened and finished as drop in visits in severe weather conditions determined by myself. —————————————————— CONSTANT CARE Minimum of 3 consecutive hours: $25 per hour Rover does not have an option to request visits longer than 1 hour. To request hourly care please send a “drop in visit” request and message me to discuss details. Prior to booking new clients I require a meet & greet with you and your pets in your home. This will allow us to determine if we will be a good match for each other.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. About: I have experience taking care of pets, as I have owned a dog myself. I've worked in animal care most of my career, working for institutions such as The Buffalo Zoo, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Pet Supplies Plus, dog kennels, etc. I love being around animals, and intend to do so the rest of my life! I'm currently working as a personal trainer at Catalyst Fitness, so I am needed when clients have training sessions. However, this will never extend for more than a few hours (at most maybe 4-5) at a time. So even if I need to go to a training session(s), I can be right back to take care of the animals afterwards! Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
