They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy. I highly recommend Melissa and Greg - they are just super!”

As a dog owner/lover, I know how important it is to have one-on-one attention which they’ll receive. As a rule, I only watch a maximum of 2 dogs at a time and have 1 of my own. If your dog is playful and in need of engagement and exercise, we are your place. I work full-time 7-4pm so I am available after work or during the weekends when I have full availability. I specialize in smaller dog breeds but will host larger dogs that are well tempered I have a fully fenced in backyard with ample room to run and play. My home is their home while they’re with me so it is very relaxed in the house. I can accommodate diets and feeding times with food you provide. Walking your dog is included but requires a harness and leash you provide.

About: Welcome to my profile! For the past six years, I have studied and worked in Brooklyn, and I have delighted in walking and sitting dogs through Rover in each neighborhood I have lived in. I work at a lab 3 days a week, though I might have to go in on my off days to complete various tasks. Weekday sits work best for my schedule. My apartment is pretty dog-proofed. I make sure not to leave out anything toxic to dogs (gum, chocolate, etc...) and to put away anything I would not want to get destroyed. I am open to continuing any training you might have with your dog, such as sitting and waiting before a meal or ignoring other dogs on a walk.

About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. About: Growing up around dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with disorders such as anxiety or epilepsy, and dogs that just love to eat any and everything, I've learned how to handle almost any tough situation. I have graduated college with degree in animal behavior, ecology, and conservation and a minor in zoo biology. Every owner will have specific directions for how to take care of their pet and I make sure to follow those directions and consult them with any questions that might come up.I will never attempt to take care of a pet I am not comfortable with taking on and will always ask for clarification about how to do something I don’t know how to do. I also will send updates and photos as often as the owners would like so they have assurance that their pet is happy and healthy!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and sometimes cats for 3 years at a few daycares and boarding facilities. I love animals and would love to provide care for them! I’m currently recovering from a leg injury, so for now I’m focusing on caring for small dogs and cats! I love giving them attention, walks, and cuddles. I’ll be ready to work with bigger dogs again very soon once my leg fully heals! I will provide care for pets at clients home by making sure they are fed, medicated if needed and safely crated after I leave. Also, keep the pets safe from anything dangerous.

“Melissa and Gregory were incredible! This was our first time using Rover and they put us immediately at ease. They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy.
