We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! About: I pay close attention to pets as I do children, treating each with love, respect, compassion, and empathy. Sometimes no words are needed, just a scratch under the chin, chest, head, or ears! Other times, fuzzy friends need to be told what a great gift from God they truly are. I love being sensitive to each creature's individual needs, and cherish the special bonds formed while owners entrust me with their forever family friends. Sometimes that means going the extra mile (literally) if furry friends feel like going for a jog, hike, or swim! We have an adequate fenced in backyard space for pups to play and enjoy frequent visits to the park. With drop in, checking food and water are on the list along with potty outside, playing ball (or throwing stuffies/ frisbee 🥏) and rubs.

About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. About: I have been passionate about animals and pet care since I was very young. With multiple animals of my own, I have experience with just about every age, demeanor, and species. I have worked at animal control as a kennel attendant, volunteered with multiple rescues, have provided foster homes for senior dogs and cats, and have experience with exotic animals as well. I am comfortable with any age dog, to include senior dogs or young puppies, reactivity (people or other animals), administering medication, mobility issues, etc. I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be evenings or weekends. I can dedicate as much time as necessary during visits to taking care of your pets! Having worked in rescue and at animal control, I am comfortable with handling even large dogs in almost any situation. I know the proper tools for avoiding triggering situations, redirecting attention, mental stimulation, and energy exertion.
About: All 3 of my animals I've owned throughout my life have lived full, happy lives. They also, however, required close supervision. Both cats were outdoor cats which required consistent grooming, tick repellant, and even medicine administration for when they ate something they shouldn't have, or developed infections (administering pills to a cat is a skill I'm proud to put on my resume.) My dog Connor developed an autoimmune disease, and required prednisone administration daily. He was also a very reactive dog to other dogs, so those behaviors I am very well-versed in handling. The same can be said for my partner's family's two dogs (black lab mix and white Dogo Argentino), and my sister's pug mix. Dogs are reactive for a reason and I do not judge them for it, I'm happy to accommodate their predispositions. I work completely remote (and to be truthful it's a pretty chill job day to day) so I'd consider myself the best option as someone who has a full time job outside of Rover! Plus, I love the company of pet sitting during the week. I'm of the belief that cats and dogs belong on the couch and the bed, so in my home they are allowed wherever they please. That being said, if you have more strict rules for your animals either inside my home or yours, I completely understand and have no problem carrying out your wishes (obviously.) My care style is attentive. I know that's another obvious answer, but I've always loved interacting with animals, playing with them, etc. It makes me happy.
“I have a large, energetic 80 lb Saint Berdoodle (Archie), and I specifically hired Ian because Archie needs more enrichment, structure, and help with his manners—especially his habit of jumping on people at home and on walks. From our very first meet-and-greet, I could tell Ian knew exactly how to handle a rambunctious dog. He was calm, confident, and immediately comfortable managing Archie’s energy. He even offered helpful suggestions for training and recommended calming treats, which I really appreciated. As someone who has had pets my entire life and currently owns two dogs (a German Shepherd and a Cane Corso) and two cats, I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and compassionate looking after your furry family members. About: Hello, my name is Kayleigh and I am 20 years old. Growing up my family has always had least two dogs in the house at all times. Over the years we’ve had dog breeds from a German Shepherd, golden retriever, black lab, blue heeler, and Newfoundland. I love every and all dog breeds. I have tons of experience, dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors of mine. I’ve dog sat and walked all different breeds of dogs and all different sizes. I am a very active person so your dogs will get as much exercise as they need. As of right now, my schedule is fairly open. I am a full time college student so I would just have to work around my class schedule. I know that in-trusting someone with your pet/pets can be difficult. That being said, I want you to feel 100% comfortable that you’re leaving your dogs in good hands. I’m more than happy to send regular updates and photos while you’re away. I hope you consider me the next time you are looking for a dog walker, leaving for a trip and need someone to stay with your dog or just need someone to stop in for a potty breaks. I am currently a junior in college. I have a fairly open schedule with classes so I can work around whatever works the best for you! I will pay close attention to the instructions given for each animal. It can be difficult trusting people to take care of your animals but I can ensure you that I will treat them like they are my own.

About: Hi my name is Annalisa but for short some people call me Anna . I’m going to school to become a veterinarian . I Have have experience with alot of dogs and cats ! I also own a Great Pyrenees who has nerve damage . My puppy is 55 pounds she is a gentle girl . I also have experience with senior dogs . If you feel uncomfortable with a certain breed I would love for you to bring it up to me and I will make sure that breed is not coming on that day . All furry friends have to be up to date on vaccines and also your dogs must get ALONE WITH OTHER DOGS. I’m always taking care of animals I’m either taking care my dog, my boyfriends mothers dog or sisters cats or at all 3 at once. Plus I do grooming on the side. Pet care is very much part of my fault routine and I have room for more in my home. I have a fenced yard and one puppy that will keep your fur baby company . I can also easily crate your dog if needed and if you forgot your fur baby’s food will be provided at the times you request along with fresh water. Whatever the pet parent would like for there fur baby ! Pls give me feeding instructions! When they go out and any medication or allergies. Leave me a list or text me instructions for your fur baby ! Whatever is easy for you to help you and your fur baby out !

They welcomed our rambunctious puppy into their home with open arms, making us feel confident that he would be well taken care of. He had some tummy troubles going on when we had to leave and they were so understanding, telling us not to worry. He made a mess in his crate one night because of this and they were so understanding, not bothered at all. They cooked up his brat diet (ground beef and rice) for several days until his stomach was working better. Leo came back to us healthy and happy.
