Mary and Casey handled him so well and he enjoyed lots of play time with other dogs. I was so happy to receive the pics and sweet videos of him playing "hide and seek" with the other dogs. She's worked on crate training and commands with my pup, even letting me borrow things to help at home. My only concern is that my pup loves being at her house maybe more than mine, since Courtney's dogs are her new best friends! About: My name is Karlyn. I started working in pet care in 2018 at a pet hotel and doggy daycare. I joined Rover in 2019, and I worked at another dog boarding facility/daycare from 2023-2025. I have extensive training in how to properly care for your dogs (and cats!) I have experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have three rescue dogs; a 12 year old Papillon named Archie, a 2 year old Papillon named Zoloft, and a 6 year old Maltipoo named Toaster! About: I have aided in training both of our German shorthaired pointers growing up as well as a go-to pet carer and walker when close friends and family are on vacation or cannot get away from the office. I take time out of my day to do this for my current family & friends so I am used to making the pets a priority because that time of their day I get to spend with them is very crucial to their happiness since their owner cannot be there. I take pride in being chosen to be a part of different pets lives and have a vast experience with different breeds (aussies, bulldogs, labs, and cats are just to name a few!) Looking forward to chatting soon!! Pet care fits into my routine pretty frequently. I have an hour of lunch time to myself and use that to be able to let pets out and if the owner requests to stay with them a big longer, I do & finish up some work there if possible. Getting out at 5 p.m. every day is a benefit to the pets I go let out and spend time with because the rest of the night I am free. My availability is Monday-Sunday! I care for the pets with mostly the instructions the owner gives like if they need fed or not etc but I always always always make sure to play with them, give them pets, and make sure they are used to me before anything else. If they have a fenced in yard I will play with them but in other cases when the dog is staying in my house with me, I always give them walks throughout the day as well as bring them to a cages in dog park near my house so they can roam free a bit without the leash.

About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.

About: I’m a recently retired professional with a lifelong love of dogs and a home that feels a little too quiet these days. For many years, I cared for my own dog, who was truly part of my family. After losing him about a year ago, I’ve found myself missing the companionship, joy, and daily rhythm that comes with having a dog around.
