1. Jenn & Brian H.
“Jenn & Brian are really warm, friendly and welcoming. They’re really nice and we felt very comfortable while leaving milo at their place. I informed her about Milo’s neuter and she was really caring and kept sending updates about the stitches as well. I am from Chicago and sad that they’re in NY. If we are in same place I would send milo again and again to them whenever we go on a vacation. Best people ever! Highly Recommended.”

12. Jessie W.
About: . As cliché as it sounds , dogs are my life! I am passionate about the way they communicate. I highly enjoyed back when I volunteered at a foster rescue agency in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity polished my skill of handling myself in high pressure and high energy situations when it comes to dogs and cats. Working for Rover, growing up with dogs, and volunteering was another rewarding pet experience I had which gives you basic but hands on independent experience with clients and there furry loved ones. Rover is actually my main job. It’s enough to support yourself as well as I love the schedule flexibility. I am home most of the time and if I do leave it’s usually just to the grocery store or maybe to dinner. I love being home and watching TV or doing some type of new art. I’m studying to attend Animal Behavior College so I can train PTSD Service dogs and maybe even help socialize shelter pups. As I said I am home most of the time minus the normal grocery store run or what have you. They will get frequent potty breaks as well as a nighttime long walk to wind down so shall they stay overnight. If they have any problem areas,I like to dedicate a small slot of time to enrichment aka knowing as training time. Great way to help me practice as well as help any areas a part might need to work on… Not that they’re not perfect as is 😇. I’m a single mom who has my son by myself full-time however, please don’t think that will interrupt the level of care or undivided attention that your pup will have! My son loves animals he absolutely gets so excited whenever I have a client! Due to being a single mother, I am home full-time, and Rover as I said as my main job. Although I don’t even look at it as a job I seriously love what I do. Whenever I do have a client, I like to adapt to whatever your pups schedule is! I don’t mind getting up as early as 6 AM if that’s what they’re used to. I found that it’s better to keep them on the schedule that they have at home as it helps them acclimate to being away from home. I love my clients and I’m very signature with each one. I like to tailor my service based on the clients needs. For instance, if they are an anxious client with separation anxiety, I will sleep in the living room with them so they do not feel alone. I even like to do little blanket forts with my son and the client and that gives them a little den to feel safe in. If they don’t mind being in the bedroom they are more than welcome in there. I give each client free roam of my home. Whether you choose your home or mine, I will focus solely on making sure your fur baby is not only cared for, but stays entertained as well as meet all of their needs accurately and on time. What’s more is that my home is a calm, peaceful, spacious 4 bedroom with a good size backyard. In the backyard, I have a stake leash tie out so your pup can be secured since it’s not fully fenced in but they also will have about a 20 foot diameter to roam around and feel free. I never leave any client unattended out there however just for safety precautions. In my home, I have plenty of guest items in case you forget anything such as toys, food/water bowls, beds, even doggie sweaters in three different sizes for the colder months and doggy boots in two sizes in case it’s muddy/rainy! I offer meet and greets before the sitting so you and your fur baby can get comfortable and acclimated with myself and my home and I can then address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the meet and greet I will also ask YOU a few short yet detailed questions to make sure I take the utmost care of your fur baby while you’re away be it in your home or mine! Some of the questions include specific feeding times, vet & ICE information, favorite, toys, and games, and discuss any behavior issues or anxieties and how I can best comfort them! All pups get to go home with a thank you card and a new toy whether it’s a rope, ball, or squeaker depending on what their favorite is! As you’ll see, it’s an option to take care of your pup in your home if you’re more comfortable with that. When you book housesitting, this includes of course, first and foremost, taking care of your fur baby just the way I would at my house but also includes watering any plants, bringing in any packages or mail, and though it’s not specified through Rover, I like to go above and beyond, so I don’t mind doing any laundry or lighthouse cleaning. I assure you when you arrive home your home will be in the same if not better condition then you left it!
13. Alyssa G.
“Alyssa is a kind and compassionate person who would be an excellent pet caregiver. I've known Alyssa for 7 years and have seen the gentle and loving way that she interacts not only with her pets, but with others as well. While my family was on vacation for a week, she stayed at my house and cared for my four dogs and cat and when we returned, it was clear that they were well taken care of during our trip. She is knowledgeable about animals and I have no doubt that she would be both a responsible and caring pet caregiver.”
14. Erin R.
“Erin was great to work with re scheduling. She was welcoming to me and my pup and helped us both settle (my first Rover experience). My dog relaxed, started playing with people, checking out toys, exploring. Erin has a large open back yard for games and sniffing. Everything went great adn my pup was happy when I picked her up. I would ask Erin to sit again! thanks!”
15. Maria S.
“Maria has owned her own dogs since she was a little girl of 5. When she became an independent adult she rescued two beagles and became a dog mom. She cared for them for many years till they both passed in the last two years. Those dogs were so well cared for that I am sure she extended their lifespan by a few years. She is still grieving the loss of her two dogs and this is why she she has chosen to become a pet caregiver, so she can be close to dogs and yet not make the emotional commitment to owning new ones so soon after losing her loved ones.”
16. Madeline G.
“Madeline is my first-choice when it comes to finding someone to look after my kitties! I cannot begin to tell you how much comfort it gives me knowing that my cats are safe and sound and happy under Madeline's care. My cat Solo loves to play fetch with me but won't play for my husband--and Solo approves of Madeline enough to play fetch with her! Thanks for always taking such good care of my babies, Madeline.”
17. Rachel T.
“Rachel always takes very good care of Yankee and makes sure Yankee has a good time.”
18. Ava & Christian C.
“Very happy -Sparky had fun”
19. Daryn L.
“Daryn is a responsible, loving and attentive pet sitter. She’s always on time, follows specific instructions and keeps us informed. We truly appreciate her and trust her enough to enjoy our times away from home and our fur babies!”
20. Brandy T.
“My first time with Brandy and will be more to come! She was very accommodating, kept a really good communication throughout. It makes you feel safe and secure with your mind at ease because after all, you’re giving your pet to a stranger. She does give you updates and let you know how your baby is doing too! That way you know for sure they are in a good spot!”
