“Tara is absolutely amazing every single time! She takes the best care of our huskies and is attentive to their needs. She is our first choice every time as my fur babies absolutely love her. I know they are in the best hands possible when Tara is taking care of them!!”

“Madison took great care of my two cats for the weekend! She followed instructions, communicated well, and the cats liked her. I would definitely book her again in the future!”

“Andrea did an amazing job taking care of our dog while we were away for a long weekend. She was very attentive and went above and beyond our expectations for walks during the day and loving on her during every visit. Our dog loved her, and she made the whole experience worry and stress free. We will absolutely be working with her again!”

“Roslyn was very affectionate with my cats. She sent me lots of pictures showing the cats playing and letting her pet them (they can be somewhat shy with new people). She was also very cooperative when I requested a change in scheduling. The girls were happy and healthy when I returned, and it was obvious she took great care of them.”

About: I raised my family's dog for the past 13 years, she was diabetic and in need of insulin shots twice a day, peed the house often, was blind. I have also fostered kittens every summer for a few years now, raising them and potty training them. I am a student home for winter break until the 19th so I can pet sit anytime. I will happily walk dogs for up to an hour if needed. I tend to let pets explore when on walks but do not let them chase other animals. I really love all pets and have a high tolerance for harder to take care of pets.

About: I have two dogs of my own and have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I started my own little dog walking/care business when I was in middle school. I gained a lot of experience through this, every chance I get to care for a dog I take! I’m a college student, but working around my class schedule still gives me plenty of time to take care of your dog! I am available all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am also available all day Monday, except from 2:30-4. It is important to me that your dog feels safe and comfortable. Whatever is needed for your dog to be taken care of in your home I will do.
“Thank you so much it was great meeting you. Thanks for coming all the way out to us. Let me know your future availability and I will book accordingly. It was really great meeting you. Thank you so much for the pictures ❤️”
About: I have had a pet for all 30 years of my life! My love for animals continued to grow and I am fortunate enough to have 3 cats and 1 doggo of my own! I have pet sit for a few senior dogs and love giving them the love and attention they need! If it has paws, I’ll love them for sure! I am currently working part time at a school and have plenty of free time! I am fortunate enough to create my own schedule so I will be able to make plenty of time for your fur baby! I have a fully fenced in yard and one young puppy to keep your fur baby company! I also have three curious cats who will be happy to get a sniff in to say hello! I live in a great neighborhood where everyone walks their dogs!
“Carolyn is amazing! She watched our cat while we were away on vacation. She administered medication every day and made sure to send us fun pics of our cat! She is hands down the best cat sitter on here!”
About: Hello, I’m Chelsea! I’ve owned pets all my life, and did the main research/training/caretaking for my own dog Clementine when she was a puppy! I love learning about dog training techniques and activities that stimulate the doggie brain, so I’m always looking for ways to keep your pup engaged! I live in Amherst and have a flexible schedule, so let me know when your pet and I can spend some time together! I currently have several daytime slots open during the week. I am very flexible and will try my best to accommodate your needs- plus the needs of your pet! I have a fenced in yard and a playful pup at home. In your home, I’m sure to follow all your instructions to a T and treat your space like my own. I always go at your pet’s pace and match my energy with theirs. WEATHER POLICY: For temperatures below 10 degrees (or wind chill below 10 degrees) or above 100 degrees, I will take your dog out to potty and then return inside with them for the remainder of our time. This keeps me and your dog safe!
About: Currently booking for the Amherst, Snyder, Williamsville and limited Tonawanda area. Have had a special place in my heart for dogs for as long as I can remember. I have 2 dogs myself (and would have more if possible). One of my boys is a senior and I know how much care & attention is needed for our old pups. I have my own business and make my own hours, which allows me a lot of flexibility to come and hang out with your pup! I am happy to meet your pup ahead of time to ensure you both feel safe and comfortable with me for dog walks and drop ins.
About: I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. After so many years of joy, they're no longer with me. People are often surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I also have about five years experience caring for a rabbit. I miss them all dearly, but the responsibility was huge as a pet parent. So, now I'm very happy to fill in for others when they're in need. I do have a steady part-time job, which leaves me room to do what I really enjoy- caring for pets! For my first Rover gig, I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all. I prefer to have my eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. If they have snacks or toys, they'll be supervised just in case.
About: I have taken care of my sister dog for 7 months her name was chichi. I had lots of experience with taking her to walks, making sure she used the bathroom on her walks, also bathing her. I am very playful with dogs and make sure they eat and have a clean bowl of water. I work at my other job during the afternoon but I still am available to take care of your pups from 11am - 2:30 pm. I will always keep your pup in company. I love to watch over playful dogs and love to teach them new tricks. I’m a very kind and generous person and comfortable to be around with dogs.
“Claudia responded very quickly to all of our questions and took the time for a pre-visit before her first drop-in to make sure that our dog was familiar with her. She also has a very calming manner, which was helpful with our anxious hound. We highly recommend her!”

Amherst pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katelyn was amazing with Roxy. This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about how the experience would go. However, Katelyn made sure to send plenty of pictures of Roxy enjoying her drop in visits. She also left the house just like I had left it. Definitely recommend Katelyn and would use her in the future if I ever need a dog sitter or someone to drop in quick if I was ever away from the house again.

Will was phenomenal with my girls! It was the first time I've left them home and in the care of someone checking in with them. They LOVED him and so did I! He was punctual, playful with them, and gave them lots of love and attention! I couldn't have picked a better sitter be there in my absence. Thank you so much again, Will! We are so thankful for your services and wouldn't hesitate to book you again in the future!
