About: I have take care of dogs and cats since I can remember. I’ve always had family pets that I looked after. Recently I started to pet sit professionally and have looked after pets with all manners of personalities and needs. I am currently working full time with a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday through Friday remote. I am free every weekend and anytime after 5pm. Because each pet parent is unique and has their own ways to raise and care for their pets I strictly adhere to their rules and guidelines. That includes areas they have their pets walk and house rules for those that request house sitting.

“Jen provided drop-in visits and daily walks with my German Shepherd while I was out of town. He can be a little intimidating with his barking when someone new is on his property, but Jen was unfazed and just took her time meeting him. He immediately warmed up to her and they did great together. Besides exercise and feeding/watering, Jen administered eye drops and pills every day, lots of belly rubs and play time. She was punctual, trustworthy, and provided updates on all the things a pet parent needs to know, to be sure their pet is getting high quality care. Highly recommended!”

About: Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my upbringing, I have experienced a diverse range of lifestyles and had the opportunity to be around various types of pets. From dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, chickens, roosters, horses, chameleons, snakes, hamsters, and more, my exposure to different animals has caused my curiosity and love for nature and wildlife to grow. This passion led me to enroll in an Animal Science BOCES class during my school years, where I gained knowledge in proper animal care, animal restraint, and grooming techniques. Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career as a wildlife biologist, traveling the world studying animals, by attending college. So what makes me different? My love and compassion for all animals. Currently, I am working part-time at Red Lobster, dedicating my time to about 3-5 days per week. Alongside my job, I am also pursuing online education with the goal of graduating ahead of schedule. To save up for my college expenses, I have taken up pet care and babysitting as additional sources of income. Given my flexible schedule, I am actively seeking more opportunities in pet care. Currently, I am the proud owner of two adorable chiweenie dogs. They are an integral part of my family, and I take great care of them. To ensure their well-being, I feed them twice a day - once in the morning and once at night. Their meals consist of a nutritious homemade mixture containing quinoa, chicken, ground beef, carrots, peas, and beans. In addition to their meals, I make sure to provide them with regular exercise. I take them for walks every couple of hours, usually around three times a day. This not only keeps them physically active but also allows them to explore their surroundings. Moreover, I make it a point to take them to the dog park at least once a week, where they can socialize with other dogs and enjoy some extra exercise. Maintaining their hygiene is equally important to me. I bathe them once a month, following the recommended guidelines. This helps to keep their coats clean and healthy. But it's not just about the essentials - I believe in creating a loving and enjoyable environment for my furry friends. We engage in daily playtime with balls and ropes, which they absolutely adore. And, of course, my personal favorite activity cuddle time! When it comes to taking care of your pets, rest assured that I will treat them as if they were my own. I understand that each client has unique circumstances, and I will adapt my care accordingly. Your pets will receive the same love, attention, and dedication that I give to my own dogs.
