“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. I even took care of disable dogs such as blind ones. Honestly, big dogs are my favorite but I love all animals at the end of the day. About: Believe it or not I actually grew up with a cat allergy. However, from going to my friends' houses over the years and being exposed to their cats (and working at a pet store), it seems like that allergy has gone away! I have absolutely no issues being in the same household as cats, and have not had any issues arise from being around them!

My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

For walks, I make sure your dog gets safe, engaging exercise at their own pace, along with fresh water and plenty of attention before I leave. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park for some interactive time with others, if this is a suitable/desirable option for you. For overnight stays, I maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible, feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide, while also keeping your home tidy and secure. Having grown up around dogs, I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, so you can feel confident they’re in capable, caring hands while you’re away!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched friends’ pets in the past to help them out. I’ve boarded and walked on multiple occasions. I work during the day M-F. During the summer my two very responsible 19 and 20 year olds are home to help out and play with the animals as well. I’m looking at this as a learning opportunity in responsibility for them. I have a small yard and live in a nice neighborhood that is good for walking. I have a dog named Westley who is 3 1/2 and a cat, Daisy, that is 6. Both have been around both dogs and cats. Daisy generally will hide if she’s scared. Westley loves to play.
