In many instances I've had a cat or dog that doesn't like anyone besides family come up and become my new best friend. Also have been trusted to watch multiple friends animals while on vacation because they loved our time together more than anyone else. This has allow me to better understand dogs behaviors. I have school Monday through Friday six to three in the afternoon.
