Dejah is absolutely amazing! She came to walk my dog and was so responsive, kind, and trustworthy. She kept clear communication with me while she was there and always let me know exactly what she did. I have a new puppy who can be cautious around new people, but he absolutely loved Dejah! That made me feel so comfortable and confident having her watch our puppy. She is reasonable, honest, caring, and you can truly tell how much she loves dogs. Dejah is exactly the kind of person you would want to trust with your dog. I highly recommend her!

Summary: Hire Dejah. Full Story: I found Dejah to cat sit my girls while I was away on an international trip, and honestly, she was the best thing since sliced bread. I actually found Dejah in a pretty unconventional way. I ran an Instagram ad for a cat sitter and had people fill out Google Form applications. She was essentially a stranger I attempted to social media background check and met to make sure she wasn’t a serial killer. I did this because I had used Rover before and, unfortunately, had some pretty disappointing experiences. I know cats have a reputation for being “low maintenance” and needing nothing compared to dogs, but these cats are my babies. When I was paying someone to come for an hour and they would, not exaggerating, be there for five minutes, it was such a letdown. Dejah was the complete opposite. She was absolutely amazing with my girls. She followed all of my instructions for their care, cleaned up after them, washed and refilled their water bowls, refilled their food, and most importantly, actually played with them. And I mean really played with them! My cats are lazy little potatoes, so getting them to exercise is basically a full time job, and Dejah somehow got them moving and gave them a good workout. And they loved her. Like, loved loved her. The peace of mind I had knowing my babies were being cared for by someone who genuinely enjoyed being around them was priceless. I also came home to a house that somehow felt cleaner than when I left. I’m pretty sure Dejah vacuumed and did some general tidying while she was here, which was such an unexpected bonus. But more than anything, Dejah is just a genuinely kind, sweet person who really cares about animals. Yes, she’s working for a buck, as we all are, but you can tell she genuinely loves this. She has such a good heart, and I completely trusted her with my cats and my home. I would recommend her for any job, if Dejah where to come ask for a rec for the company I work at hands down she has it. She is just hardworking person in general. I’m so glad to see Rover has someone like Dejah on there because people with cats desperately need sitters who understand that “they’re cats, they’ll be fine” is not how we cat parents operate. I will recommend Dejah to absolutely anyone with a cat and a pulse. Seriously. If you’re lucky enough to book her, your kitties are in very good hands!
