I had a few dogs growing up, but I started looking after cats in college. There’s equal love there. I’m an attentive pet sitter - I’m present and keeping a keen eye out for changes in your pet’s behavior, keeping up with their needs from high to low energy, and keeping up consistent communication with you about how they’re doing in case anything unexpected comes up (and if not, oh no, cute pet pics coming your way). It’s my job to keep your pet as close to their comfy normal as possible, so you and them both can breathe easy.

While I can’t host, I’m detail-oriented and will follow any instructions/tips you leave for walks/check-ins/pet-sitting to the letter to keep your pet safe and happy. And of course I’ll keep you in the loop with any updates.

Amanda was wonderful. It was my first time using Rover and she put my mind at ease. She came over, met the dogs before housesitting. The dogs looked really happy in the picture she sent - even my skeptical dog had her tongue hanging out. Already booked Amanda again!
Amanda was a fantastic sitter for our furry friend. She stayed at our home with our dog for five nights, and this was our first time using her services. From the very first meeting, she was warm, easy to talk to, and highly responsive, which made us feel completely comfortable leaving both our dog and our home in her care. During our trip, she kept in touch with thoughtful updates—just enough to reassure us without being overwhelming—so we could truly relax knowing everything was going well. When we returned, our dog was happy and clearly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Amanda again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

My work schedule is pretty flexible and a good deal of the work can be done remotely - that means I’m pretty flexible to walk, check in on, or hang out with your pet!
