Pet care experience

I love training puppies!

I've fostered and trained 14 puppies until they found their forever homes, with organizations like R.A.R.E Rescue and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. I especially love teaching puppies tricks, such as "sit," "spin," "come here," I can teach them to recognize their names, and I can potty and crate train as well. I used to volunteer at the Nashville Humane Society walking and socializing dogs and cats, and I have experience taking care of animals with special needs or special medical instructions. I love taking pictures of cute moments and will make sure any animal staying with me is loved and cared for! I've had both cats, dogs, and a snake as pets, and I have experience petsitting other animals for neighbors such as different reptiles, ferrets, and bunnies, so I'm definitely capable of taking care of any animal with specific instructions.

Rachel did an excellent job taking care of our dogs and cat. She communicated with us at least once a day updating us on the activities of our pets. She did a great job ensuring our pups were comfortable throughout our trip. We would definitely schedule her again to take care of our pets

Doggy Day Care • Aug 11, 2026

Rachael took fantastic care of my 10 year old husky shepherd mix. She was flexible, communicative, and caring. I’m a little sad Lila won’t be staying with her anymore and would happily book again. Thank you so much ❤️

Thank you very much, Rachel, for watching my 10-year old Siberian Husky rescue named Juneau Elizabeth. I know she misses me when we are apart, but your patience and willingness to follow my suggestions helped Juneau relax. I will not hesitate to reach out to you when we require such assistance in the future.

Rachel was great with our dog. She kept us informed of his activities and went above and beyond by taking him to his favorite park and our neighbor’s house to visit his dog friend.

Safety, trust & environment

I just moved to New York from Tennessee, so I'm a little new to the area. If you have any special requests, I'd love to help out in any way I can!

A typical day

I love to stimulate animals mentally and building their confidence with training, especially new puppies or rescue animals. Pets are so smart and it makes my day when they first learn to their names or their first "sit." I also love watching pets have the time of their lives with zoomies and toys. For high energy pets, I can drive to a dog park if it's something the owners are comfortable with or play with pets in their homes. If your pet has any favorite trails or walking spots, do let me know!

I'm used to watching rescues and training and socializing puppies, so I can recognize most animal body language and signals, but do let me know if your pet has any special behaviors I need to look out for.
