Availability
I am self-employed and work from home, so pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I have flexible hours and can be available for last minute requests. I also have a car to swing by at any time to take dogs on walks throughout the day or even drive to a dog park.

I just moved to New York from Tennessee, so I'm a little new to the area. If you have any special requests, I'd love to help out in any way I can!

Information Rachael M. would like to know about your pet
I'm used to watching rescues and training and socializing puppies, so I can recognize most animal body language and signals, but do let me know if your pet has any special behaviors I need to look out for.
A typical day
I love to stimulate animals mentally and building their confidence with training, especially new puppies or rescue animals. Pets are so smart and it makes my day when they first learn to their names or their first "sit." I also love watching pets have the time of their lives with zoomies and toys. For high energy pets, I can drive to a dog park if it's something the owners are comfortable with or play with pets in their homes. If your pet has any favorite trails or walking spots, do let me know!

I love training puppies!
Pet care experience
I've fostered and trained 14 puppies until they found their forever homes, with organizations like R.A.R.E Rescue and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. I especially love teaching puppies tricks, such as "sit," "spin," "come here," I can teach them to recognize their names, and I can potty and crate train as well. I used to volunteer at the Nashville Humane Society walking and socializing dogs and cats, and I have experience taking care of animals with special needs or special medical instructions. I love taking pictures of cute moments and will make sure any animal staying with me is loved and cared for! I've had both cats, dogs, and a snake as pets, and I have experience petsitting other animals for neighbors such as different reptiles, ferrets, and bunnies, so I'm definitely capable of taking care of any animal with specific instructions.
Reviews

Rachel was great with our dog. She kept us informed of his activities and went above and beyond by taking him to his favorite park and our neighbor’s house to visit his dog friend.

Rachael is AMAZING! Her communication and detail to taking care of my dog is unparalleled. Knowing he is in the best hands when I cannot be there is a game changer! Thank you Rachael!

Rachel was great! I appreciated all the communication throughout her stay and how she took the time to learn our dogs routines. I would book again!

Racheal was good taking care of our furball. She is reliable and communicates well with us. I will definitely get again.
