“This is who you want to hire! When you come home from vacation and your kitties are calm and relaxed - that's all you really want. You know they were well taken care of. Thank you, Sherrie! We appreciate you. Until next time!”

“It was really lovely to go on vacation and not worry about the care that our animals were receiving. Neil was prompt, sent pictures daily and when we got back our animals were calm and we could tell, well cared for. Thanks Neil!”

“Chelsea did a great job! This was my first time using Rover ever, but specifically my first time with my new rescue who is dealing with hyper separation anxiety. Chelsea made this first trip go smoothly for both of us.”

“Everything went smoothly; she came over to meet the kitties, showed up on time and sent pictures of them when she was watching them, and followed care instructions. Very pleasant to work with and I plan to reach out to her again the next time I need someone to watch them!”

“We are so lucky to have met Maddy! She is fantastic, flexible, reliable and most of all great with Mo!! Took him no time to get comfortable with her and enjoys her visits! Absolutely love how she gives me a report and fun photos after her visit!”

“Jessie was absolutely amazing!! Will definitely be rebooking with him in the future 🙂. Can't say enough good things about him and how good we felt leaving our old hound dog in his care.”

“Melody is the sweetest!! She took great care of my cat when I left town for 10 days. She sent pictures and updates every day. I will definitely rebook with her the next time I need a sitter 😊”

“Not to be dramatic, but Louise is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! My pup, Dolly, absolutely loves her and she’s always providing the sweetest most thoughtful updates and cute pictures. I always know Dolly will be well taken care of with Louise. I work long days in the summer months, so I need someone to give her exercise and attention during the day when I can’t. With other sitters I would come home and Dolly would still seem wound up, but she seems like she’s getting exactly what she needs with Louise. Couldn’t be happier with her!”

About: {Please note I have removed Housesitting from my services through 2025 for a health recovery. Thank you for understanding! ❤️🩹🐶} I have been Petsitting and housesitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 12. Long walks, play time, and great care of dogs is a genuine passion of mine. I work full time, but I have the capacity to walk dogs twice or more. I will work hard to fit them into my schedule! I have a fenced in yard with one dog. I take him on walks and runs. I carry poop bags with me if I need!

About: Ever since I was a little kid I fell in love with every animal I met. Starting in high school I began watching pets for neighbors, family and friends. I have lived in the Asheville area now since 2017 and have spent time pet sitting many dogs, cats and chickens. I am open to watching all pets and look forward to meeting them! I am a self-employed ceramic artist so my schedule can be very flexible to house sitting, dog walking, etc. Please reach out and I will try to accommodate any schedule you need! I have reliable transportation and am happy to come take care of your animals in your home. I have a Subaru Outback and can easily put your dog in the car to go to a park or walking trail. I do not watch pets at my own home. I currently live in an apartment building with restricted animal rules and have my own cat who is older and does not want to be around other animals.

“Emmie is so sweet with my 13 week old puppy! So helpful to have her take him out in the middle of the day due to my work schedule. Would definitely continue with her service!”

About: Hi, I’m Cassie! I’ve been pet sitting for over 4 years and have experience with animals of all ages from playful puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs medication, a slow walk, or just some cozy company, I’ve got it covered. I'm reliable, easygoing, and happy to work with your pet’s unique needs and routine. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work morning shifts at Starbucks and am usually home between 2–4 PM, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m also a full-time student at UNCA, but I only have classes two days a week so my schedule stays flexible and reliable for pet care. I make it a priority to give each pet the time, attention, and love they deserve When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I respect the home environment by keeping things clean, calm, and consistent. I stick closely to each pet’s routine whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or bedtime rituals to help them feel secure while you're away. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, and I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind.

“Could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog for a week. Miranda was thorough, on time, very communicative, and loving. She did way more than she was asked. Very happy with the Rover Service, and Miranda was a godsend. Highly recommend.”

“Jennifer is a genuine pet whisperer. Her intuitions are spot- on and my dogs adore her! Such a relief to know she’s with them while I’m away! I highly recommend Jennifer and feel so fortunate to have found her.”

Woodfin pet parents share their Rover experiences
Melissa was very responsive in her Communication leading up to scheduled appointment. The initial interview and references were exactly what we were wanting for our little Lola. We ended up having a friend stay with our girl but would not hesitate to schedule with Melissa in the future.

Lindsay agreed to my sit at the last moment and found time to come over and meet me and the kitties. Unfortunately, I had to terminate my sit early. Lindsay was very gracious about the change. She loved on my kitties and they seemed comfortable with her. She kept in touch and provided additional pictures of the kitties. I highly recommend Lindsay and hope to use her again.

Words can not express how much appreciation I have for Christine. She dropped in on my dog twice a day while I was away and treated him with so much care and love and affection. She definitely goes above and beyond! I'm just getting back home now and my dog has been telling me all about his new friend. Thank you so much Christine. You're amazing!!!
