About: Live and work in downtown Asheville and usually available on short notice with an open schedule. I've lived and cared for dogs for over 15 years. Current doggo: a 3-year-old pitty mix that we are training up to be the very best dog (better than she already is!). In a way, I'm training myself as I train her to reduce reactions and improve leash skills. Previous expeirence with mid-sized (20-30ish lbs) spaniels and a Shiba Inu. I am attentive to the needs of your pets, whatever they may be. I'm a pretty big guy who can be as much of a 'rassler as your dog needs, even if that means being a couch potato for a few hours at a time. I'm not much of a runner, but getting a mile or three of walking in is no problem if that's what your furbaby requires. Overnights, drop-ins, longer-stays. I am a writer by trade, so my work can follow me just about anywhere. No problem with administering medications. And yes, I can definitely send you a picture of your dog because you miss them. I have an extremely flexible schedule. If I'm in town I can drop in or walk on short notice and am usually available for overnights with 24-48 hour notice. I have a dog-friendly home with a small-ish, fenced in yard and a docile (lazy?) dog who will likely love getting to know your pup. I have a reliable truck equippped with a back-seat hammock in case your pup needs a ride anywhere. I am a clean human, responsible, who is very careful to be an exceptional guest in other people's homes (because that's what I expect out of people who stay in my home!).

“Bess is so wonderful with our sweet pup! We are grateful to have her recurring, reliable help making certain he is well loved and well exercised. He always has the biggest smile on his face in the photos Bess sends of their time together…and he is always tuckered out when we return from those long days at work. Thank you, Bess!”

“I’ve had many great experiences with Rovers, but Melody really stood out. From the start, it was clear she had read my pet’s bio and came to the meet and greet with thoughtful questions. Her updates and communication during visits/dog walks made us feel completely at ease. She even gave our cat extra love! And as a bonus, her photos are incredible, professional-quality. Highly recommend!”

“Allie is the best! Shows up on time, follows pet instructions perfectly, and responds to messages very quickly. I feel very comfortable with her being at my house and feel at ease knowing she’s easy to reach”

About: I’ve had wide variety of pets throughout my life, from ferrets, fish to cats and dogs. Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve also assisted friends and neighbors by dog-sitting and walking their dogs when they were unable to. I'm currently working full time and have availability on Mondays. from 11:00am to 2:00 pm, Tuesdays from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, Fridays from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm When caring for pets I focus on safety, trust, and a comfortable environment, for both the pet and you to ensure a stress free experience for all.

About: Hi, I’m Cassie! I’ve been pet sitting for over 4 years and have experience with animals of all ages from playful puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family, and I always treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs medication, a slow walk, or just some cozy company, I’ve got it covered. I'm reliable, easygoing, and happy to work with your pet’s unique needs and routine. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work morning shifts at Starbucks and am usually home between 2–4 PM, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m also a full-time student at UNCA, but I only have classes two days a week so my schedule stays flexible and reliable for pet care. I make it a priority to give each pet the time, attention, and love they deserve When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I respect the home environment by keeping things clean, calm, and consistent. I stick closely to each pet’s routine whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or bedtime rituals to help them feel secure while you're away. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, and I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind.

“So easy to communicate with Emylie and she wrote tbt best little snapshot of her time with Argo. It was the best thing to read on a rainy day when I’m stuck at work. I hope she will want to walk Argo again and they can be fast friends if they aren’t already.”

“Megan was so caring for my pups! She kept in touch with updates and pictures, and made sure they got exercise and extra love in my absence. I definitely plan to use her in the future!”

About: I have had dogs forever include being the primary caregiver of two Golden’s for many years. I am currently a surgical resident where I am unable to have one of my own with my busy schedule. I have helped many family and friends with their dogs including training, sitting, and boarding. My available days are completely unbooked so can alter things as needed! Looking to spend what time off I do have to get some much needed pet time. I can adapt to any needed environment. Happy to crate or have the dog loose, whatever is their normal schedule.
