We also have experience with: -Senior dog care, including medication and mobility needs -Dogs with anxiety or who need extra reassurance -Multi-dog households and managing different temperaments We keep you updated with photos and notes, and always aim to return your dog even happier than when they arrived! I do typically work at 10am, so any hand offs after that time do need to be quick but can work. Anything before 10am I do have a bit of time to socialize and give same day tours. Since I work from home with a very flexible schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my day. This allows me to provide regular potty breaks, scheduled meals, walks, and plenty of cuddle time or one-on-one attention whenever your dog needs it. Your dog will never be left waiting—whether it’s playtime with the pack, quiet rest, or extra snuggles. I’m able to quickly adjust to their needs throughout the day and keep a calm, consistent environment that makes them feel safe and loved. Being home most of the time means your pup will always have companionship and supervision, with frequent updates sent to keep you connected to their day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and sense of belonging are our top priorities. We have a securely fenced yard where all dogs are always supervised during potty breaks and outdoor play. Inside, guest dogs don’t just stay downstairs—they’re fully integrated into our family routine and spend time alongside our boys in all common areas. Crates remain available and are used only if it suits each dog’s comfort and routine. We maintain a spotless environment—blankets, crates, toys, and dog beds are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between visits to ensure every pet has a fresh, safe space. Whether it’s playtime in the living room, cuddles on the couch, or lounge breaks in the quiet corners, your dog will feel like part of the pack in a calm, loving home.

About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years and have taken care of a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. I treat my own fur baby, Dexter, like my own child and I will do the same for yours! He’s my best friend, we do everything together & that’s exactly how I will treat your pup or kitty. I would love to take your fur baby on a nature hike, to the local coffee shop for a puppuccino, to a park to play fetch, or even just playing and lounging around the home. I am here to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Whatever works well and best for them. I work a full-time hybrid position, so my schedule can be flexible at times with advanced scheduling. I am typically able to interact with your fur child as much as needed! We can go on a short walk or hang out at home before I go to work, during my lunch break, and after I am off! Weekends are usually wide open availability. I am no longer offering boarding services at my home, however, I would love to check in on your pet at your home as much as needed. Due to having a pup of my own with his own needs, I will not be able to spend the night at your home. Please note, this prior to booking. I am only available for drop-in visits. Drop in visits typically range from 3-7 times per day, depending on your pet’s needs. I want to ensure your pet is comfortable and safe in the comfort of their home.

Melissa was not only able to manage her care and monitor progress, but also somehow managed to get my extremely shy cat to warm up to her, despite all the meds and special care routine. When I got back Luna was in tip-top shape and a lot less mad at me for leaving than she usually is. Melissa will definitely be my first call next time I need to travel.
Penny was amazing taking care of my babies while I was away for a week. She did drop-in visits and was always on time, reliable, and made sure they were well taken care of. She checked that they had eaten, had fresh water, and spent time playing with them and giving them attention. I had five puppies and two adult dogs, so it was definitely a lot to handle, but Penny did such a great job with all of them. She was patient, caring, and made sure each one got the attention they needed. She also sent me several pictures every day, which made me so happy and gave me peace of mind knowing they were doing well. It’s never easy leaving your pets behind, but Penny made my 1st Rover experience so much easier. I truly appreciate all the love and care she showed my babies and would definitely recommend her! ❤️🐾
