“This was my first time using rover and I was a bit nervous leaving my dogs with someone that I didn’t know but Bobby and Linda made me feel very confident in their ability’s to take care of our dogs. They gave great updates with pictures and notes on what they did that day. I will recommend them to others and use them again in the future.”

“Dogs came home super happy and could tell they had a lot of fun! I was sent some cute pictures but also deeply appreciated that they didn’t text me every 30 minutes with questions or concerns. Super chill and excellent customer service for mom and dad as well as the doggos!!!”

“The BEST sitter ever! Becky did an amazing job watching our two pups. We got so many updates and cute photos! We were worry free the whole time knowing our dogs were in good hands! Becky is such a sweet warm person, and goes above and beyond with her dog care (her pets Kito and Tatter were amazing playmates for our babbies). We will for sure be a returning client in the future :)”

“Julie and Barry were great with my pup. She is old, hard of hearing, and anxious. They were very understanding and patient with her. They provided pictures, great communication and a safe place for miss Minnie while I was out of town. I would recommend them to anyone needing sitter services.”

“Kristopher was truly a lifesaver. When my original sitter had to cancel unexpectedly, he stepped in without hesitation, and I honestly could not have asked for a better outcome. He was incredibly communicative throughout Izzy’s stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind. As a first-time dog mom, that level of care and transparency meant everything and made the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. Izzy came home happy and completely worn out, which tells me she had the best time. I would absolutely recommend Kristopher and will definitely be booking with him again!!”

“Makenzie was great!! Always communicative and played with Poe and took excellent pictures. My cat (Poe) is shy usually and warmed up to her pretty quickly! I’m definitely using her again in the future :)”

“Emily was amazing! Excellent updates and timely check-ins. My boy was happy and healthy as can be when I got home. It was very clear that he was well taken care of. Thank you so much!”

“So greatful for Melissa's help taking care of my cat Luna. At the time of my trip, Luna was recovering from a wound that needed special care. Melissa was not only able to manage her care and monitor progress, but also somehow managed to get my extremely shy cat to warm up to her, despite all the meds and special care routine. When I got back Luna was in tip-top shape and a lot less mad at me for leaving than she usually is. Melissa will definitely be my first call next time I need to travel.”

“Jiwan took excellent care of both my kitties and was able to give them lots of loves and pets. She kept me informed in great detail on eating, etc and sent plenty of pictures. Highly recommend her.”

About: I've taken care of cats of all kinds since I was young, I've had cats myself and always shown love to my outdoor stray cats, there's never been a cat I don't fall absolutely in love with and pamper!

“Anna was amazing. Just from the photos she regularly sent us (we can never have too many photos!) our cats looked very happy and absolutely comfortable with her. She gave us great updates after each visit. We will absolutely ask her to watch our cats again!!”

“Excellent sitter, someone you can really trust that you’re leaving your animals in great care. Took care of my apartment, went above & beyond for me & my pets. Will definitely be booking again for any future cat-sitting needs.”

“Great communication. Lots of pictures. Twice daily visits were to schedule. Overall, Penny was fantastic. Will definitely rely on her to take care of our cat in the future.”

“Lilieana went above and beyond taking care of my girl while I was away. I haven’t been away this long from my cat before, but Lilieana made sure she gave Plum all the love and care she would’ve gotten as if it were me! She was very attentive and let me know if she noticed anything or had any questions. Would absolutely recommend. ⭐️”

“Anika came by for the meet and greet and was exactly on time! She is very friendly and personable. She took care of our two cats while we were gone (although she didn't see much of Zipper because he's shy). She sent pictures each day of playing with Pixie. I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have been a cat-mom since I was a young girl. I have a very special connection with these precious felines and am very aware of their needs, wants, and emotions. I currently have 2 kitties, Chicken & Nugget, 6 and 8 yrs old. Having navigated uncertain times with both of them, and my late kitty, Tommygirl, I am experienced in administering oral medications, changing wound dressings, and providing unconditional love.

About: While my primary experience is with dogs and animal rescue, I’ve been caring for cats for more than five years through pet sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and clients. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box maintenance, medications, and caring for cats with different personalities and needs. My background fostering rescue animals has taught me how to read body language, respect boundaries, and help pets feel safe in unfamiliar situations. Whether your cat is social and outgoing or prefers a quiet check-in and a clean litter box, I’ll provide reliable care tailored to their comfort level. I also offer plant care and vacation watering services, making me a great fit for households with both pets and plants.
About: I grew up with animals always around, dogs, cats, and birds, but am not ready to have one of my own again at this time. I work from home so will be available to your pets at all times. I have a big fenced back yard to play in. I limit stays to 1 household at a time to ensure everyone is familiar and comfortable with eachother. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and experienced in administering any medicines needed. I do live with a partner, while he is an animal lover too, I will be the sole sitter for your pets during their stay. I really look forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’ll be available at all hours of the day. My workday usually starts at 7am but that is highly flexible. My house is small but I have a large fenced in backyard and am usually okay just keeping the door open for pets to go in and out as they like during down time. I prefer for your pets to stay with me but if you need me to come to your place that can be arranged. I will respect your home and your home’s safety however you deem. I’m here to help you and your pets feel as comfortable as possible while you are away
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years and have taken care of a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. I treat my own fur baby, Dexter, like my own child and I will do the same for yours! He’s my best friend, we do everything together & that’s exactly how I will treat your pup or kitty. I would love to take your fur baby on a nature hike, to the local coffee shop for a puppuccino, to a park to play fetch, or even just playing and lounging around the home. I am here to keep your pet safe and comfortable. Whatever works well and best for them. I work a full-time hybrid position, so my schedule can be flexible at times with advanced scheduling. I am typically able to interact with your fur child as much as needed! We can go on a short walk or hang out at home before I go to work, during my lunch break, and after I am off! Weekends are usually wide open availability. I am no longer offering boarding services at my home, however, I would love to check in on your pet at your home as much as needed. Due to having a pup of my own with his own needs, I will not be able to spend the night at your home. Please note, this prior to booking. I am only available for drop-in visits. Drop in visits typically range from 3-7 times per day, depending on your pet’s needs. I want to ensure your pet is comfortable and safe in the comfort of their home.
About: I have grown up with pets and even found my first job working at an animal boarding house. You could say I learned to become a professional dog walker at a young age. I have two high anxiety dogs and have been working on their social skills and coping methods to help their anxiety. I work full-time from home but take frequent breaks to let the dogs go out and play and take multiple walks a day to give them exercise. Weekends are mostly free to cuddle and to play with the fur babies. When house sitting or boarding pets I stay close so they be taken care of as needed. I keep my own pets on a schedule feeding, potty breaks and play with puzzles to earn treats. I will follow clients care guidelines to maintain consistency and keep them comfortable while their owners are gone.
“Corey is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond to care for our puppy, and Morhan ADORES him. We love having Corey as part of our family, and that's exactly how he treats us and our baby.”

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

“Charlene has been hands-down, the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had. The amount of love, care, fun, and exercise she gave our dog, Ginkgo, was truly exceptional. I’m someone who loves pictures and updates, and Charlene provided beautiful pictures and updates without prompting during Ginkgo’s 4 day stay. He got to go on runs, long hikes, and even got a pup cup with her daughter. He came home each day absolutely exhausted, which was amazing for my husband after working long days. We are so grateful we found Charlene!”

“So sweet to ghost and super understanding of his puppy energy! Kept me updated throughout the whole experience and really made ghost’s day! Such a huge help!”

“Kristopher has great energy and you can see his love for animals. He was kind and loving to my new dog that I just adopted 3 months ago. He communicates well and keeps you informed. I'm looking forward to his next visit with my puppers.”

“Absolutely recommend. Pets definitely instantly love her and she is the most professional Rover we’ve ever hired. She did 6 days of dog walks/dog exercise over vacation and I got the happiest dog photos. She is punctual, smart, conscientious, very knowledgeable about dog behavior. She was great with my slightly reactive dog and large dog who wanted to go after squirrels. I recommend without hesitation.”

“Penny has been walking Heidi almost every week since February. Heidi is a rescue so having the extra attention and exercise that Penny provides has really helped her get settled into our home. I really appreciate knowing that Penny cares as much for my dog as I do!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had family dogs growing up and had a dog of my own in my early twenties, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Around 2020, friends and coworkers started asking me to house sit while they traveled, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy caring for other people’s homes and especially thier pets. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities... from tiny Chihuahuas and miniature Poodles to Huskies, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans. I’ve also spent some time with cats, hamsters, bunnies, and lizards. Unfortunately I have retired for caring for cats due to allergies. I know that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, some love long walks, and others just want someone cuddles. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’ve even helped reinforce basic training, taught a few fun tricks, and worked on some very simple behavioral habits when owners have appreciated. I believe consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement go a long way. When your dog is with me, they’ll be treated like my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your best friend is getting plenty of attention, exercise, affection, care until you’re back home. I’m currently a surgical technology student, and my classes are scheduled in the mornings, which means I’m available most afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and quality time with your pets. Trusting someone with your animal is a huge deal. I am big on personal integrity and respect. I know every pet is different, so I like to stick as closely as possible to the routine they’re already used to. Whether that means long walks, playtime in the yard, keeping up with feeding schedules, or just hanging out on the couch together, I’m happy to do whatever helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. Safety is always my biggest priority. I’m especially careful on walks, pay attention to each dog’s personality and body language. This means, my phone is away… unless I sneak a really cute picture of your pup. I also know how important it is to trust the person staying in your home, so I’ll treat your space with respect and leave it just the way I found it. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know I’d want the same if someone was watching my dog. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away worry free.
“Princess was super awesome. My little Lexi is a very shy dog to people upfront but for some reason Lexi went differently to Princess and greeted her. She took a lot of pictures and spent the full 30 minutes walking Lexi. She made me feel at ease and made sure Lexi was safe. I 100% recommend Princess.”

“Samie didn’t great with Eden today. They played, she had her go potty and even followed every wild direction and listened when I explained tips for making her time with my overstimulated puppy easier. Samie sent plenty of cool photos and even went above and beyond to feed my always hungry cat who screams for his food. Thanks Samie! Eden and Ninja would be happy to have you back for a walk or drop in.”

About: Animals have always been part of my life — from horses to fish, and most importantly, dogs. For the past 2+ years I’ve been a foster with the Portland Dachshund Rescue, caring for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. Through local dachshund meetups and rescue work, I’ve become known as a trusted safe space for small dogs in the Portland community. What sets me apart is the blend of heart and hands-on skills: • Experience with senior dogs, medical care, and even injections when needed. • Specialized understanding of dachshunds and other small breeds. • A home set up with secure fencing and stairs for tiny dogs’ safety. • The flexibility of working from home most days, with the option to bring pups to the office on others. I treat every guest like my own — with patience, love, and individualized care. Most days I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I go into the office, but I can often bring a guest dog with me if needed, so they won’t be left alone. Because I only host up to two small dogs at a time (20 lbs and under), I can keep routines flexible — from regular potty breaks and short walks to cuddle breaks on the couch. My schedule is designed to give your pup a safe, consistent rhythm while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying at my townhome or I’m caring for them in yours, safety is always the top priority. My home is rescue-approved with secure fencing, pet stairs, and even an outdoor ramp in progress for tiny legs. Guests are always supervised, indoors and out. If I’m in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys, and I’m happy to follow any security routines or send photos so you feel comfortable. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you, and a safe, happy experience for your pet.
About: I got my first dog sitting job when I was 5, it was my neighbors dog and I've loved doing it since. I have since home sat, many dogs of all different breeds, ages, and size. I have a 3 year old English mastiff, and grew up with two big dogs as a kid. I'm good with training and working with puppies and older dogs who need medicine and extra care. I am a stay at home mom and nanny to my sister, I also am a home health aid for my elderly grandpa. So I have plenty of time to love your fur babies and give them all of my attention! I am available for boarding 24/7. I have a very large yard with a tall fence, I have a 3 year old English mastiff and a 7 year old daughter to keep your fur baby plenty occupied! I can crate your dog if you would like, but i do not crate unless told by the owner they can crate or have to be crated. We free feed our animals, but we can schedule feed if that is what you do! None of the dogs eat together to reduce the risk of an incident. I am very open to making accommodations and changes to make your fur baby feel safe and happy. I am one of the few sitters that take reactive dogs, I have the space to accommodate them and still have them get the love and attention they need! I am a stay at home mom to a 7 year old, so I am home all the time to take care of your babies. We play out side, and we snuggle. I treat your babies like they are my own. I have two very hyper, loving dogs who love to play in their giant yard! I can crate your baby if you prefer, but they all get to roam the house, and sleep in beds with humans!
About: I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 16+ years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 6 years now. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024. I’ve had on and off experience over many years of pet sitting mostly for my veterinary co workers pets in their homes (multiple cats, multiple dogs and sometimes a combination of both). I would enjoy having positive experiences with your pets on their normal day. I'm currently working Full Time my availability is mostly Thursday/Fridays and Saturdays. I'm available for 1 drop in visit or 1 walk Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. House sitting is limited to places I am able to bring my dog with me (he gets along with everything) as long as he pets in the household are ok with my Labrador Retriever. I'm willing to adjust rates for repeated visits to make it more affordable. More about me: I moved here from Maine in 2024 I have years experience in the Veterinary field but also pet sitting which was mostly veterinary staff pets in their home, experienced watching multiple pets that live in the same home. I had two full time jobs prior to the move so I have never had the opportunity to join Rover until moving to Oregon. I'm huge into fitness and being active in general (My lab and I enjoy Hiking/Swimming). - Working in emergency veterinary medicine for many years your pets safety is a priority and I can recognize potential emergencies before anything critical happens. - If I book house sitting I'm available to be there a huge percent of the time

About: Aloha, My name is Miranda Kaleiopu. I love all animals (but mostly dogs). I’ve had my own pups over the years, and each one has held significance in my life. Currently I have 3 pets. A chiweenie, Siberian husky/german Shepard mix, & a Domestic Bust tabby kitten. They are all the sweetest bunch. My little dog can be more vocal, but he is all bark mostly (little man syndrome in my opinion) but also just protective. They all have never attacked other animals or harmed other animals. My pets are sweethearts & I’m not just being biased. I do have little ones (3 & 7 year old) as well. They love animals too & enjoy playing with them & helping sometimes. Besides experience from taking care of my own animals & my past rover clients, I’ve actually worked at a vet clinic for over a year. I do have more knowledge now (but ofc I am not a vet) but I do feel more confident now than I did previously. I do live in an apartment, but it has a dog park. I will be taking them there a couple times besides walking. Let me know if you want them to just go for walks. For boarding, I would like for you to provide a kennel (if you have one), bed, a toy, and enough food to supply your pet till pick up day. For walking, I can only do evening walks unless it is on Saturday or Sunday. I will have a more open schedule starting in Sept, but currently I’m open on the weekends and around work hours. I will make it work. I just do the normal day to day plus whatever the pet may need. I do prefer for owner to bring their pet, pet bed, bowls, & a toy or something for comfort.

“Yet another great stay with Gary and Carol. Waldo can barely contain his joy and excitement when we drive up to their place and goes full steam ahead to their front door. They’re the best!”

“Kristopher and his partner are so nice and were very good to my dog! You can tell that they genuinely care about each pet they watch and will 100% rebook them in the future.”

“Ruby had a great time, and they were so In tune with her needs and making sure she was comfortable. They were great about sending updates on how she was doing and pictures also.”

“Dave did an excellent job with our Blue Heeler. He has a nice big yard for dogs to roam and play, and was a great communicator throughout the whole experience. We would definitely have our buddy stay with Dave again.”

“Norah had a wonderful time at Anastasia's house! She loved having new friends to play with and a yard to run around in. Anastasia was great with updates and very understanding when my return flight got delayed. We highly recommend Anastasia!”

“My go to pet sitter! Colleen takes very good care of my pup and is always updating me on how he’s doing. My dog loves to stay with them and really likes to play with Jackson. Every time I need to leave him behind I can rest easy knowing he’s being taken care off.”

“Yuting was great. She communicated daily and sent video and pics throughout our time away. Dave was exercised daily and had plenty of play time with her pups as well! Thanks, Yuting!”

“Emma and Kenzie are the best! Love that my extrovert pup gets to run + play with some of her same besties from previous stays, and also that she gets to meet new friends as well. She always comes home tail wagging. :) Thank you!”

“Flawless. Leah and Chris did a phenomenal job making me and Gnocchi feel comfortable with the arrangement and she had a great time. She's very high energy and they gave her a lot of playtime and attention. And sent tons of pictures too!”

“This was Lily's first visit with Kristen and it went very well. Kristen was very attentive to Lily. We were kept up to date on Lily's activities and felt that if there was a problem Kristen would know what to do. We'll visit again.”

“I was able to travel in peace knowing that Tonks was in good hands. Kendra sent pictures of Tonks everyday with updates. I could tell that my dog was happy and well cared for in Kendra's home. With her understanding and flexibility to meet my needs, Kendra is a wonderful person to work with. I would leave Tonks with Kendra again in a heartbeat.”

“My dog stayed with Michelle for 9 days and came home dirty and exhausted from playing with all of the other dogs all day. I'd call that a success! She also did a great job with ear cleaning and medication and kept me updated with pictures daily. I felt like he was safe and secure while I was out of town.”

“Sarah was GREAT! We can’t say enough about the environment she has set up for the animals in her care. It’s all about the little things, and Sarah made sure Ollie was happy and fit in. You know the stay was great when your dog doesn’t want to go home!”
